  • Publication number: 20050082907
Abstract: A holding device with limitation of a moment for objects formed as piston rods to be screwed into components formed as pistons contained in an interior of syringe cylinders, the holding device comprising a holder for an object; a braking device which is formed to non-rotatably hold the holder and, through the holder, the object with a predetermined braking moment, the braking device having an electric brake which acts on the holder.

  • Patent number: 6516585
Abstract: A treatment machine for pharmaceutical products formed as a filling and closing machine has an insulator which surrounds a sterile treatment region, a substantially plate-shaped partition which separates the sterile treatment region from an unsterile drive region, at least one movable drive member for driving treatment functions, the drive member is drivable from the unsterile region for its movement, extends through the partition into the sterile treatment region and is surrounded over at least one longitudinal portion by a passage through which a medium is supplied, the passage in an end region which extends in the sterile treatment region is open by at least one opening toward the sterile treatment region, so that a sterilization medium is aspirated from the sterile treatment region through the at least one opening into the passage and is aspirated through the passage in direction toward the unsterile drive region.

  • Patent number: 5906571
Abstract: A centrifugal sorter has a horizontally inclined rotatably driven feed plate and a ring drivable about an approximately vertical axis by means of a ring drive device, which surrounds the feed plate in a substantially horizontal orientation and provides a delivery location for the workpieces fed outwardly and upwardly from the container under the influence of centrifugal force approximately in the vicinity of its highest peripheral section The wall of the ring is spherical sector shaped The ring has an approximately horizontal ring surface at a lower outer edge, with which the ring bears on several rollers which are equally spaced from each other around the circumference of the ring surface and which form a friction drive together with the ring surface. At least one of the rollers is driven rotatably by a drive device and the others can be coupled to it for example by belt drive devices.

  • Patent number: 5568850
Abstract: The conveying apparatus for transporting elongated objects having a radially protruding flange, particularly injectors, injecting containers and the like, includes two conveying tracks (18, 19) over which the objects move in a conveying direction and in a suspended position with the flanges (13) contacting bearing surfaces of the tracks; two vertical buffer storage devices (21, 22) consisting of a vibrating conveyor having one or more substantially spiral guideway (51, 52, 56) for conveying objects vertically downward; and/or an adjustable connecting guide device (20). A connecting guide device (20) is positioned between opposing ends of the conveying tracks (18, 19) and conveys the objects around a curved path between the two conveying tracks (18, 19). The adjustable connecting guide device (20) is adjustable to convey different sized elongated objects (11, 11a, 11b) between the two conveying tracks (18, 19) and the conveying tracks are designed to carry the different sized objects (11, 11a, 11b).

  • Patent number: 5398803
Abstract: An arrangement for transporting objects, in particular tubes composed of glass, plastic and the like, has a circular rotating support having an edge and provided with a plurality of outwardly open receptacles on the edge spaced from one another for receiving individual objects so that the objects can be received into the receptacles and removed from them, and each of the receptacles is formed as a clamping holder formed for clampingly holding a corresponding object received in the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 5111635
Abstract: An arrangement for closing bottles comprises a rotor arranged to move bottles over a partially circular path, a flanging device provided with a flanging element arranged to engage with lower edges of caps to be placed on the bottles, bottles gripping elements connected with the rotor and arranged to rotate the bottles about their own axes and also to disengage the bottle from the flanging element, the flanging element including a centrally arranged disc having a ringshaped part with a peripheral edge engageable with the cap, the disc having an axis which extends parallel and is eccentric relative to an axis of the rotor, and the disc being arranged so that the partially circular path of the bottles extends around the peripheral edge of the disc.

  • Patent number: 4730482
Abstract: The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for monitoring the hermeticity of filled containers closed by sealed-on or welded-on covers, or the like. The air or gas cushion present between the cover and the material with which the container is filled, is heated, and the change caused in the position of the cover, by the resulting increase in the volume of air or gas, is monitored, after which the containers which have been indicated as having missing or faulty covers, are removed.
