Abstract: A control circuit for an electronic household appliance has a control device for controlling the operation of a unit of the appliance. The control device is connected to a supply system via a supply line. A switching device for optionally connecting or disconnecting the control device to or from the supply system is arranged in the supply line. To reduce the energy consumption in stand-by mode of the electronic household appliance, the switching device has a switching contact, arranged in the supply line, with a bistable switching characteristic. A mechanical actuator switches the switching contact into the switching state connecting the control device to the supply system. The actuator is coupled to an operating element that can be operated by a user. An electrical tripping device switches the switching contact into the switching state disconnecting the control device from the supply system. The tripping device is activated by an off signal received from the control device.

Abstract: An adjustment apparatus for a control element of a water deflector in a water-bearing household appliance has an electric motor which can be actuated by a control electronics system. The water deflector has a control element for influencing the detergent circuit and the control element is driven by the motor through a transmission that transmits the rotation of the electric motor to the control element. The position of the control element is determined by a corresponding sensor. The electric motor is a single-phase synchronous motor which rotates to the left and to the right and has two connections.

Abstract: An operating panel configuration for an electrical domestic appliance such as a washing machine or the like. The panel configuration has an operating panel and an associated control circuit with operating and/or control and/or switching and/or display elements. The operating panel is provided with a single opening for the control circuit and the control circuit is in the form of a functional unit with all operating and/or control and/or switching and/or display elements. A front side of the control circuit is adapted in respect of design to the front side of the operating panel. The control circuit is preferably in the form of a control module.
