  • Patent number: 8240629
Abstract: A mount for elements of a water or heating installations is provided that includes a base body and a retaining clip that extends around one of the elements and releasably attaches it to the body. The base body and retaining clip are shaped to fit the elements. The retaining clip is U-shaped, has two legs and is made of a resilient, sound-damping plastic. The ends of the legs are bent back in a V shape and first detent projections are formed on the outside of the leg ends. The base body has openings matched to the legs. Formed on the inner wall of the openings are second detent projections, which cooperate with the first detent projections. The ends of the legs are designed to be manipulated by hand.

  • Publication number: 20090205440
Abstract: A device for indicating and regulating the flow volume in a fluid circuit of a heating or cooling system is provided. The device includes a housing having a lower valve part, a conical bore, and a sealing seat. The device further includes an indicating element having a hollow-cylindrical inspection glass with a closed end, an open end, an indicator plunger axially movable therein and stressed by means of a spring. A regulating cone is attached to the open end of the inspection glass, whereby the free end of the indicator plunger is guided through the regulating cone and bears a flow body immersed in the conical bore. Also, the regulating cone has slots distributed at the periphery and extending to the indicator plunger.

  • Patent number: 6994109
Abstract: A fitting for measuring the flow rate of a hydraulic medium through a pipeline having a cylindrical fitting housing with a main flow channel includes a flow meter device with a measuring element and an indicator element. A side chamber is formed in a side connecting piece of the fitting housing. The flow meter device is arranged in the opening of the side connecting piece closing it off to the outside. In a measuring bore that forms the forward flow to the side chamber, a rebounding plate of the measuring element is arranged, which is connected by an indicator rod with an indicator of the indicator element. The main flow channel between intake bore and the outlet bore of the fitting is formed by the measuring bore that leads into the side chamber, the side chamber itself, as well as a transverse bore that adjoins the side chamber. As a result, the entire flow of the main channel runs through the side connecting piece with the measuring bore and the side chamber.

  • Patent number: 6349603
Abstract: A fitting for hydraulic flow measurement includes a fitting housing containing a principal flow duct, a throttle point arranged in the principal duct, a bypass duct for conducting a partial flow connected behind the throttle point to the principal duct, and a flow measuring device with a movable measuring and indicating member for the partial flow. The fitting housing includes a side pipe piece forming a side chamber, wherein the side chamber is directly connected to the principal duct in front of and behind the throttle point in the housing interior. The flow measuring device provided with a measuring part and an indicating part is held in the side pipe piece by single hole mounting and closes off the side chamber to the outside, wherein the indicating part is located outside of the side pipe piece and only the measuring part is acted upon by the partial flow.

  • Patent number: 6089264
Abstract: A flow meter, such as is used in warm water heating systems, has a measuring element (2) with a flow-responsive element and a display element (3) with a transparent inspection glass or tube (10) with a bore in which an an end of an indicator rod (6) moves. The indicator rod is part of, or is coupled to, the flow-responsive element and it has a pointer (8) near the end inside the inspection tube. The inspection tube preferably has no markings: instead, around the inspection tube is a scale support (16) with scale markings calibrated to the positions of the pointer (8) to show the amount of flow. The scale support is essentially sleeves-shaped, with a lateral cutout (18) which permits the user to view the pointer inside the inspection tube. The scale markings may be on cut surfaces (20) adjoining the lateral cutout.

  • Patent number: 5890515
Abstract: The height of the valve with a flow meter shall be as small as possible, enabling it to be mounted in restricted spaces. In order to achieve this, all adjusting and display movements are not executed axial but on the contrary polar. The rotating spindle of the valve is designed as rotary slide valve and the display marker or the graduation of the display unit of the flow rate meter is present on a rotating bush. The total height of the valve with a flow meter is accordingly low and unchangeable.
