    Abstract: A SCARA arm includes a base, a first arm, a second arm, a third linear shaft motor, and a fourth shaft motor. On the base is disposed a first shaft motor. The first arm is connected to and driven by the first shaft motor rotate in a horizontal direction. The second arm is fixed to a second shaft motor which is connected to the first arm to rotate the second arm in the horizontal direction. The third linear shaft motor includes a linear motor stator which extends in a vertical direction and is fixed to the second arm, and a linear motor mover which is sleeved onto the linear motor stator and movable along the vertical direction.     Abstract: A system for the monitoring a preload in a ball screw includes a ball screw, a detecting device, a capturing device and a processing device. The ball screw has a preload. The detecting device detects an operating signal of the ball screw. The operating signal contains information about the ball screw's rotating speed and status. The status refers to a vibration or a sound generated by the operating ball screw. The capturing device is connected to the detecting device and acquires the operating signal. The processing device is connected to the capturing device, and has a threshold. The processing device processes and converts the operating signal into a ball-passing signal. When the ball-passing signal surpasses the threshold, the processing device determines that the ball screw's preload has vanished. Thereby, the system is enabled to determine the current state of the ball screw's preload reliably.

Based on vibration absorbing principle of the vibration theory, the clamp device is connected to the movable cutting machine, so as to move along with the cutting machine during the machining operation, and the clamp force applied to clamp the workpiece is adjustable. By such arrangements, the vibration energy produced at the time of cutting the workpiece can be transferred to the vibration absorber through the clamp device, and then a part of the vibration energy will be absorbed by the vibration absorber, thus achieving the objective of reducing vibration of the cut position.

    Abstract: A clamping device includes a seat body, two clamping elements, at least one spring, a gear, a turning wheel, an impeding element, and a release button. The seat body has a front casing and a rear casing. Each clamping element has a clamping body with a rack. The spring is disposed between the seat body and one of the two clamping elements. The gear and the turning wheel are pivoted in the seat body together. The gear is engaged with the two racks, and the turning wheel has a contact surface formed therearound. The impeding element is pivoted in the seat body, wherein the impeding element has an impeding surface that contacts the contact surface. The release button is movably disposed on the seat body and connected with the impeding element. Hence the clamping device's whole structure is simple, and the cost of the clamping device is reduced.
