  • Publication number: 20060165327
Abstract: An oil carrying bearing includes a single bearing having oil storage ports and an interior of the bearing is defined a shaft hole. Width of a cross-sectional area of each of the ports is smaller than diameter of the shaft hole, thereby enabling a shaft to be supported by a relatively large support prop surface. The ports can be further adopted with inclined surfaces that provide the ports with a tapered expanded form, thereby forming a compression or yield space for the stored oil, which, because of a centrifugal force effect of the rotating shaft, controls discharge of oil and guides distribution flow to the shaft. Furthermore, outward port openings of the ports are sealed with end-seal members thereby effectively achieving complete encasing of an exterior portion of the bearing, preventing oil from leaking out.

  • Patent number: 7018859
Abstract: A soft transparent adhesive layer is utilized to bond a transparent substrate material onto an AlGaInP light-emitting diode epitaxy on a GaAs substrate, and the GaAs substrate is next removed entirely. Then, a mesa etching process is performed to form a first top surface and a second top surface on the AlGaInP light-emitting diode epitaxy for respectively exposing an n-type layer and a p-type layer in the AlGaInP light-emitting diode epitaxy. Next, a metal reflective layer and a barrier layer are formed on the AlGaInP light-emitting diode epitaxy in turn, and electrodes are finally fabricated on the barrier layer.

  • Patent number: 6705199
Abstract: A precision servo control system for a pneumatic actuator has a piston positionable over a stroke of the pneumatic actuator using a supply of pressurized gas. A brake and a sensor system are connected to the actuator and to the servo control system. The servo control system operates to initiate the forward thrust from the pressurized gas to move the piston along the stroke. When a braking point along the stroke is determined, the servo control system initiates a reverse thrust from the pressurized gas while maintaining the forward thrust and simultaneously begins to selectively apply the brake to stop the piston within a predetermined tolerance of a desired stopping position.

  • Publication number: 20030226252
Abstract: A packaging method for an X-ray image sensory system having an X-ray conversion module and a TFT panel includes steps of manufacturing the X-ray conversion module and TFT panel separately and then connecting the above components together. A pixel-based connecting method is then applied to connect the aforementioned conversion module and the TFT panel. The step of connecting the conversion module and TFT panel is pixel-based, representing that the distribution and the size of conductive bumps and boundary frames are based on every corresponding pixel, thereby to collect and output converted X-ray signals on a pixel basis.

  • Patent number: 6628752
Abstract: The invention is related to an X-ray image sensory system, including an electrode layer, a conversion layer, a gap layer and a charge collection layer. The system utilizes the “X-ray→charge” conversion layer, and operates in an electrical field to enable the “X-ray→charge→field emission electron” mechanism. The mechanism makes the field emission electrons move from the conversion layer, across the gap layer, and towards the charge collection layer. The charge collection layer is made of specific kinds of semiconductor materials. Based on the amount of the charges collected at the charge collection layer, the system is able to determine the amount of the X-ray initially emitted into the conversion layer.
