  • Publication number: 20230151178
Abstract: Disclosed is a multi-block copolyester ether thermoplastic elastomer foam prepared from an aromatic polyester compound and contains a short-chain structure, a long-chain structure and a residual functional group of a chain extender. The short-chain structure has both an aromatic dicarboxylic acid ethylene glycol ester block structure and an aromatic dicarboxylic acid butylene glycol ester block structure. The long-chain structure has a polyether diol block structure. Based on 100 parts by weight of the multi-block copolyester ether thermoplastic elastomer foam, a content of the polyether diol block structure is 45 parts by weight to 65 parts by weight. The multi-block copolyester ether thermoplastic elastomer foam has a melting point not higher than 170° C. and a melt flow index less than 20 g/10 min.

  • Publication number: 20220162775
Abstract: A heat-bondable fiber includes a core portion that includes a polymeric material selected from the group consisting of a polyester, a polyolefin, a polyamide, and combinations thereof; and a sheath portion made from a copolyester and surrounding the core portion. The copolyester has a melt flow index of not smaller than 11.5 g/10 min determined according to ASTM D2128-2010 at 120° C. A nonwoven fabric includes at least one matrix fiber and at least one the Heat-bondable fiber that are thermally bonded together. The matrix fiber is made from a polymeric material selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin, a polyester, cotton, and combinations thereof.

  • Patent number: 9234076
Abstract: A method for preparing a copolyester-ether film is provided, wherein the method includes a recycled polyester is provided. Alcoholysis is performed by reacting the recycled polyester with a diol to form a first intermediate, wherein the molar ratio of the recycled polyester to the diol is 1:1.8-2.5. Transesterification is performed to the first intermediate to form a second intermediate, wherein the temperature of transesterification is between 190° C. and 230° C. A polyol is added to the second intermediate and polymerization is performed to form a copolyester-ether, wherein the weight percent of the polyol in the copolyester-ether is 24-55%. The copolyester-ether is manufactured into a flexible film.
