Publication number: 20220255635Abstract: The ultrasonic system of the present invention uses a microwave beamforming architecture, which can disassemble the multi-channel delay circuit into two circuits of fine delay and coarse delay. Through multi-stage input signal delay and summation, the signal at the probe end can be effectively reduced. The amount of data and hardware complexity meets the needs of system miniaturization. Moreover, the present invention only uses a single microwave beamformer to realize the fine delay calculation of beamforming, and cooperates with the multi-line coarse delay beamforming operation to meet the requirements of multi-line imaging; the setting values of fine delay and coarse delay are also compensated and correction to maintain the accuracy required for multi-line beam focusing on the delay time of each channel.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 10, 2021Publication date: August 11, 2022Inventors: Jian-Hung LIU, Fu-Yen KUO, Tang-Chen CHANG

Patent number: 7385955Abstract: The present invention provides a communication system, signal pre-processing apparatus and signal receiving apparatus thereof. The signal pre-processing apparatus is used for pre-processing signals before they are transmitted by a plurality of antennas. The apparatus includes a serial-to-parallel converter, L compensation processors and L beam formation processors. First of all, the serial-to-parallel converter converts a digital signal into N divided signals. Each of the compensation processors pre-compensates the N divided signals and outputs a compensated signal. Each of the beam formation processors intensifies the compensated signal and outputs an intensified signal. Each of the antennas combines L intensified signals into a particular signal, and meanwhile, upconverts the particular signal into a RF (radio-frequency) signal for transmission.Type: GrantFiled: April 20, 2004Date of Patent: June 10, 2008Assignee: Qisda CorporationInventors: Juinn-Horng Deng, Ta-Sung Lee, Fu-Yen Kuo
