  • Publication number: 20090069833
Abstract: The disposable lancet mainly contains a resilient needle body with two arms extended forward into a Y shape with a needle between the two arms. The two arms and the needle of the needle body are housed inside a sleeve member and the combination is slidably installed inside an enclosure. When the lancet is not yet used, the arms are blocked by two wedges of the sleeve member and the needle is hidden and protected inside the sleeve member. By compressing the sleeve member into the enclosure, the arms are forced out of the blockage and the needle body is driven forward by its resilience to penetrate through the sleeve member to draw blood. As the needle body retreats back into the sleeve member, the sleeve member is locked by the enclosure and cannot return to its un-used state.

  • Patent number: 7452366
Abstract: A safety lancet device has a casing, a driver assembly and a needle hub with a needle. The driver assembly and the needle hub are mounted within the casing. The driver assembly comprises a container, a pressing unit, a controller, a pushing unit and a resilient unit. The needle hub is controlled by the driver assembly to make the needle momentarily protrude. After the needle is used, the location of the driver assembly keeps the needle from protruding. When a new needle hub replaces the used needle hub, the driver assembly will return to the original location before use and can drive the needle momentarily from the casing. Users will not forget to change the used needle. Furthermore, the safety lancet device will decrease the danger of infection.

  • Publication number: 20070161960
Abstract: A lancet device has a needle assembly and a needle carrier. The needle assembly has a casing, a needle hub, a retracting unit and a limit unit. The needle hub with a needle is mounted in the casing. The retracting unit and the limit unit connect to the needle hub to limit the needle hub to move. The lancet carrier has a housing, a pushing rod, a spring and a cap. The housing connects the needle assembly and has a pressing unit. The pushing rod is mounted in the housing and abuts with the needle hub after pushing the pressing unit to release the force of the spring so the needle protrudes from the needle assembly. After pressing the cap, the needle assembly releases from the needle carrier. Therefore, the new needle assembly can be mounted in the lancet carrier to prick again.

  • Publication number: 20070162065
Abstract: The disposable lancet device has a casing, a lancet assembly, a spring and an actuator is provided. The casing is hollow and has a front end, an open rear end, two inner side surfaces and two converging inner linear surfaces. Each inner linear surface has a shoulder and an inclined limit. The lancet assembly is mounted slidably in the casing and has a longitudinal hub with two resilient tabs that abut the shoulders and a needle cap. The spring presses against the longitudinal hub. The actuator presses against the spring and has a pushbutton assembly and two actuating tabs that press against and release the resilient tabs from the shoulders. The needle is retracted by the resilient tabs pressing against the inclined limits. Therefore, the used needle will not protrude from the casing to prick a user cannot be used again.

  • Patent number: 6332428
Abstract: A water dispenser detachably connected to a joint on a trough for supplying water to domestic animals is provided. The water dispenser mainly includes a stopper having an upper sleeve portion screwed into the joint, a lower tubular portion being beveled to provide a curved cut, and a control opening located in the stopper between the sleeve and the tubular portions. A control rod having a flange provided near an upper end thereof is disposed in the stopper with the flange closing the control opening and a lower part of the control rod extended into the tubular portion to expose from the curved cut. A ring nut is screwed to the sleeve portion to confine a spring to the stopper between the ring nut and the flange of the control bar, so that the spring normally pushes the flange downward to tightly close the control opening and thereby stop water from flowing from a water pipe screwed into an upper end of the joint into the trough via the water dispenser.
