Abstract: This application discloses example data management methods. One example method includes obtaining, by a first terminal device, metadata of a target file in response to an access operation performed by a user on the target file through a first application, where the target file is stored in a local storage device, the first application is different from a second application, the second application is a dedicated application that is of the local storage device and that is installed on the first terminal device, and the first terminal device stores the metadata of the target file. The first terminal device sends an access request to the local storage device, where the access request includes the metadata of the target file. The first terminal device receives the target file sent by the local storage device.

Abstract: Provided is a water baffling structure, for keeping out condensate water generated on a small elbow (31) of an evaporator (30). The water baffling structure includes a water baffle body (10), the water baffle body (10) is mounted on a motor seat (20), and at least part of the water baffle body (10) covers the small elbow (31). An air conditioner with the water baffling structure is further provided.

Abstract: A method of constitutively expressing a bacterial dinucleotide cyclase in a mammalian cell is provided. The method comprises transfecting the mammalian cell with a transgene encoding the bacterial dinucleotide cyclase and subjecting the mammalian cell to suitable growth conditions. In an embodiment, the bacterial dinucleotide cyclase is expressed in a tumour or cancer cell and is useful to treat cancer.

Abstract: Herein is provided a recombinant tumor-selective viral particle comprising a nucleic acid encoding a recombinant polypeptide for directing an extracellular vesicle (EV) to at least one target cell, said recombinant polypeptide comprising: at least one targeting moiety for directing said EV to said at least one target molecule expressed by said at least one target cell; at least one EV-anchoring polypeptide; and at least one intravesicular polypeptide. The viral particle may be from an oncolytic viruses. Recombinant polypeptides for programming EVs to target particular molecules are also provided. Also described are therapeutic EVs for delivering payload polypeptides (and/or cargo molecules) to target cells, e.g., in vaccine or cell-free “CAR-T”-like applications, along with EVs for recruiting immune cells to target cells in EV-mediated BiTE -like applications. Oncolytic viruses may also be engineered to infect tumor cells and shed programmed EVs, yielding additional therapeutic effects.
