Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a method and an entity for transmitting a plurality of media access control, MAC, addresses. A method performed at a first entity for transmitting a plurality of media access control, MAC, addresses, comprises: transmitting (S101), to a second entity, a message including a first parameter and a second parameter. The first parameter and the second parameter indicate the plurality of MAC addresses. The plurality of MAC addresses may comprise a plurality of source MAC addresses; and/or a plurality of destination MAC addresses. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a plurality of MAC addresses may be simultaneously transmitted among the nodes in the communication network, and thus the efficiency of the communication network may be further improved.

The present application also relates to computer program product adapted for the same purpose. The A method is implemented at a first NF node for providing an event exposure service for a User Equipment, UE, to a second NF node which subscribes the event exposure service includes starting a report mute guard timer upon receiving a first presence status report for the UE from a third NF node. The method includes avoiding a transmission of an event report to the second NF node while the report mute timer is running and transmitting an event report corresponding to a latest presence status report received during the running of the report mute guard timer to the second NF node when the report mute guard timer expires. The present disclosure further discloses a corresponding method implemented at the second NF node. The present disclosure further provides corresponding NF nodes and computer readable medium.

Abstract: The present disclosure addresses the issues of missing procedures on subscription to notification of subscription data changes in current standards, and provides for amending the “Policy Data Subscription” data structure to indicate that the URI of the “Policy Data Subscriptions” resource and the URI of the “Individual Policy Data Subscription” resource are excluded from the list of resources for which a modification triggers a notification. The present disclosure also provides for new attributes to be included in the “Policy Data Change Notification” data type.

Abstract: Methods and apparatus for handling failure during traffic steering are provided. In embodiments disclosed herein, a Session Management Function (SMF), a Policy Control Function (PCF), a Packet Data Network Gateway Control Plane (PGW-C), a Policy and Charging Rules Function (PCRF), and/or a User Plane Function (UPF) can be configured to collaboratively handle an error(s) that occurs during N6-LAN traffic steering, SGi-LAN traffic steering, Application Function (AF) influence traffic steering. Specifically, the methods disclosed herein allow the SMF or the PGW-C to detect the error based on multiple means and report the detected error to the PCF or the PCRF. As a result, it is possible to improve robustness of traffic steering in a communication network.

A network slice selector selects a network slice assignable for the UE, based on the selection data, determines network slice data and a corresponding network slice routing rule, and transmits them to the AMF. Abstract: One aspect provides a method performed by a network node implementing a network function repository function in a core network. A registration request message to register a CHF in a repository of network functions is received, the registration request message includes an indication of one or more sets of charging characteristics supported by the CHF and addressing information to reach the CHF. Each CHF in the repository is registered. A discovery request message including one or more search parameters for identifying a CHF, including at least an indication of a set of charging characteristics to be applied for the packet data connection is received. A CHF that supports the indicated set of charging characteristics is identified based on the one or more search parameters. A discovery response message comprising the addressing information to reach the identified CHF is transmitted.
