  • Publication number: 20070001527
Abstract: A brushless motor according to the present invention has a relatively simple structure and its electrical connection parts can be surely connected by an easy work. A board-side connector 28 attached to a circuit board 4 is screw-fixed to a motor cover 21 together with the circuit board 4. A cover-side connector 29 to be fitted to the board-side connector 28 and an external connector connection part 30 connected to the cover-side connector 29 are provided on a board cover 22 by integral molding. When the motor cover 21 and the board cover 22 are fitted and assembled, the board-side connector 28 and the cover-side connector 29 are fitted to each other at the same time, and then a not-shown external connector is connected to the external connector connection part 30, whereby the supply of power and signals from an external part is enabled.

  • Publication number: 20070001528
Abstract: The present invention realizes improved workability of electrical connection between an exciting coil and a circuit board disposed in a casing and ensures waterproofing of a connection portion. A waterproof case 25 in which a terminal bar 24 is buried is composed of a large-diameter portion 25a in a hollow bottomed-cylindrical shape and a small-diameter portion 25b around whose outer peripheral surface an O-ring 27 is fitted. A U-shaped end of the terminal bar 24 connected to an end of an exciting coil 7 is positioned in the hollow portion of the large-diameter portion 25a, part of a substantially linear portion extending from the U-shaped end of the terminal bar 24 is buried in the small-diameter portion 25b in an axial direction, and the other portion of the terminal bar 24 protrudes from the small-diameter portion 25b.

  • Publication number: 20070001529
Abstract: A brushless motor that is highly waterproof and highly watertight is provided. The brushless motor has a casing 1 configured to incorporate and hold a circuit board 4 and to support a rotor 3 rotatably. The casing 1 is configured such that the first annular wall 21a of a motor cover 21 is secured in part to the inner circumferential surface of the second annular wall 22a of a board cover 22. The first annular wall 21a has an annular groove 21c in its outer circumferential surface. An O-ring 23 is fitted in the annular groove 21c, accomplishing a highly waterproof and watertight sealing between the motor cover 21 and the board cover 22.

  • Patent number: 5798589
Abstract: The present invention offers a simple structure that facilitates the mounting of bearings, that maintains lubricating oil at a sufficient level in the bearing portions and that maintains an optimal distance between a rotor and a case housing for preventing freezing, for preventing reduction of the capacity and for preventing noise. Bearing stoppers provided between the bearings of the brushless motor and the bearing holders, which hold the upper end edge of each bearing, are secured at a projection formed at the internal circumferential surface of each bearing holder. A felt, which comes in contact with the lower portion of each bearing stopper and also comes in contact with the bearing at one side is provided, with holes communicating with the felt formed at the lower surface of the bearing stopper. In addition, the lower limit of the distance h between the lower end of the rotor and the upper end surface of the case housing is set at 1.5 mm.

  • Patent number: 5760512
Abstract: A brushless motor includes features that prevent jolting or shaking of a rotating shaft by urging the rotating shaft in one direction and have a simple construction and can heighten the mechanical strength of a portion holding the rotating shaft in order to lower noise. The brushless motor having a rotor having magnets and a rotating shaft, a stator for generating a rotating magnetic field with respect to the rotor, an exciting coil wound on the stator for receiving electrical power and for generating the magnetic field, and a holding plate including a magnetic member mounted in a position facing permanent magnets of the rotor. Accordingly, jolting or shaking of the rotating shaft can be prevented by urging the rotor and the rotating shaft toward the holding plate in order to attract the holding plate by the magnetic power of the magnets due to mounting the holding plate in a position facing the magnets of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 5517101
Abstract: A stepping motor control device for an automobile air-conditioning system has a key-off home-position setting unit of a stepping motor for driving an air-conditioning door in response to switching of a key switch of the automobile off. The key-off home-position setting unit, responsive to switch of the key switch off, drives the stepping motor so that the air-conditioning door comes to a full-close position or a full-open position, stores data indicative of the full-close or full-open positions, as a current position of the air-conditioning door in a memory, and thereby finishes a home-position setting of the stepping motor. The key-off home-position setting unit is supplied with power from a power source under control of a timer for a prescribed time within which a home-position setting can be finished.
