    Abstract: This application provides a frame rate control method and a related apparatus. According to the method, when a first application is run on an electronic device, screen display content is refreshed at a first frame rate. When switching from the first application to a second application is performed, frame rate switching is triggered. The frame rate switching is performed in two steps: (1) First, adjust a frequency of a TE signal. (2) Second, adjust a periodicity of a MIPI signal when the counted quantity of image frames received by the HWC reaches the first quantity (where the first quantity may be predetermined and written into storage space of the electronic device) after the frame rate switching instruction is buffered, to cause an adjusted frequency of the TE signal and an adjusted periodicity of the MIPI signal to take effect in a same screen refresh periodicity.

    Abstract: In a display control method, after a screen-on triggering condition is satisfied, a display screen is instructed to power on, a start instruction is sent to trigger initiation of the display screen, and a completion message is immediately returned to trigger processes such as sending an image and sending a backlight parameter. Then it is determined whether a duration for which the start instruction is sent satisfies a delay condition. If the delay condition is satisfied, a display driver sends a preparation instruction to the display screen to indicate that initialization is completed. If the delay condition is not satisfied, the display driver then sends the preparation instruction to the display screen after the delay condition is satisfied. Then the display screen is turned on based on the backlight parameter, and the display screen displays a lock screen interface, thereby waking up the display screen.

    Abstract: This application provides an always on display control method, an electronic device, and a storage medium, and relates to the field of display technologies. When a screen-off trigger condition is met, a display driver receives a backlight instruction and a power-off instruction, the display driver controls, in response to the backlight instruction, to turn off backlight of a display screen, and the display driver intercepts the power-off instruction, and does not control the display screen to power off. In this case, an IC chip of the display screen is not triggered to power off. Then, when the display driver receives an AOD display instruction, because the IC chip of the display screen is in a power-on state, it is unnecessary to trigger the IC chip of the display screen to power on. Therefore, the display driver can more quickly trigger the display screen to display an always on pattern.
