    Abstract: A method, a system, and a related device are provided. The method includes: A controller may determine a first optical channel between an optical transmitting device and an optical receiving device in a first slot based on a data transmission request, and then send configuration information to the optical transmitting device or the optical receiving device, to indicate the optical transmitting device or the optical receiving device to transmit data in the first slot based on an amplitude compensation coefficient of the first optical channel. This helps compensate for amplitude distortion caused by the first optical channel and reduce a bit error rate.
