  • Publication number: 20130207310
Abstract: Fluctuations in the thickness of resist films after imprinting are eliminated, in a nanoimprinting method that employs a fine pattern of protrusions and recesses. A nanoimprinting mold is produced by forming a fine pattern of protrusions and recesses on the surface of a substrate. A substrate having a surface shape after a mold release process is administered thereon and before the pattern of protrusions and recesses is formed with a 3? o value related to a height difference distribution within a range from 1 nm to 3 nm is employed as the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20130212506
Abstract: When an image is touched on a touch screen, the image is displayed as if a touched side of the image is pressed down and an opposite side of the touched side is lifted up. Priority levels of peripheral portions of the image are set in accordance with up and down of the image. Rendering priority between images to be overlapped is determined in accordance with a dominant-subordinate relationship between the priority levels of the peripheral portions of the respective images to be in contact. One of the images is displayed in an overlapped portion of the images based on the rendering priority.

  • Publication number: 20130211198
Abstract: In order to prevent floating matters from attaching to a glass plate fixed on a leading end face of an endoscope insertion portion, gas-feed ports are formed around the glass plate. Between the glass plate and the gas-feed ports, a protective barrier is formed in a manner surrounding the glass plate. Ejection of gas through the gas-feed ports generates gas streams to remove unnecessary floating matters existing between the glass plate and an observation target from sight. The gas streams also generate secondary gas streams flowing toward the glass plate. Some of the secondary gas streams are drawn forward with the primary gas streams, while the other of the secondary gas streams collide with the protective barrier. The secondary gas streams cannot flow along the surface of the glass plate, which prevents floating matters flowing with the secondary gas streams from attaching to the surface of the glass plate.

  • Publication number: 20130211217
Abstract: First and second white light is generated by excitations of phosphors with first and second laser beams having center wavelengths of 473 nm and 445 nm, respectively. The first and second white light is applied, in respective frames, sequentially to a region of interest in a subject. A color image sensor images the region of interest in the each frame. Based on a shift amount, calculated from green signals of first and second frames, between images, an image of a blue signal of the first frame is moved to be aligned with an image of a green signal and an image of a red signal of the second frame. After the alignment, an oxygen saturation image representing an oxygen saturation level of hemoglobin in blood is produced from the blue signal of the first frame and green and red signals of the second frame, and displayed on a display.

  • Publication number: 20130206998
Abstract: A radiation detection device includes a radiation detection sensor, a first integration section, a second integration section and a determination section. The first integration section obtains a first integration value by integrating values expressed by signals output from the sensor over a predetermined period of time. The second integration section obtains a second integration value by integrating amounts of change per specific time duration in values expressed by the signals output from the sensor over the predetermined period of time. The determination section determines whether or not radiation has been detected by the sensor based on a ratio of the first integration value to the second integration value.

  • Publication number: 20130208860
Abstract: An AEC signal is transmitted and received always in a wireless manner between a wireless communicator of an electronic cassette and a wireless communicator of a control device, regardless of the presence or absence of wired communication. If communication failure occurs in the wired communication and X-ray image data cannot be transmitted in a wired manner, a memory of the electronic cassette temporarily stores the X-ray image data. Since the AEC signal is wirelessly transmitted, X-ray imaging is continued even if the wired communication is unusable. A cause of the communication failure is more easily identified in wireless communication than in the wired communication. Thus, even if the communication failure occurs in the wireless communication, the wireless communication quickly recovers from the failure and downtime of an X-ray imaging system does not become too long.
