  • Patent number: 8334752
Abstract: A wireless tag includes at least one of a signal radiation unit that radiates a first linking signal based on an instruction from a wireless tag access device, and a signal detection unit that detects a second linking signal that has been radiated and provides the second linking signal to the wireless tag access device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 6, 2008
Date of Patent: December 18, 2012
Assignees: Oki Electric Industry Co., Ltd., Oki Consulting Solutions Co., Ltd.
Inventors: Shigezou Kukita, Takahide Kawakami, Koichi Sakanashi, Fujio Deguchi, Masayuki Muratani, Masaru Nishijima, Motoatsu Yoshikawa, Shirou Nagata
  • Patent number: 7604177
Abstract: A contactless data carrier has a measurement port receiving an external signal to be compared, a threshold generator that generates different threshold values, a comparator that compares the external signal with the threshold values, and a controller that controls the variable threshold generator on command from an interrogator and returns the comparison results to the interrogator. The comparison results returned to the interrogator may be the results of the individual comparisons, or information derived from a threshold value at which the comparison result changes. The contactless data carrier is small, lightweight, and inexpensive, and can be used to perform an essentially unlimited variety of measurements by connecting suitable sensors to the measurement port.
