  • Patent number: 5804149
Abstract: Gas-cleaning equipment is disclosed, which comprises a housing having an intake vent and an exhaust vent and having disposed between the two vents a fan having at least one rotating blade. Air pollutant-removing system using the gas-cleaning equipment is also disclosed. This gas-cleaning equipment can effectively clean a gas through the action of plasma produced by glow discharge caused by rotation of said fan. When a metal layer having a catalytic activity is fixed onto the surface of said rotating blade, this metal layer also functions to effectively clean the gas. In the case where both the plasma and the metal layer function to clean the gas, there car be obtained synergistic effects. Cleaning of the gas can be conducted with more efficiency by bringing the intake gas into contact with the fan in an oxygen-free state. A magnet provided as an outer wall of the housing serves to generate plasma with higher density, leading to more effective cleaning of the gas.

  • Patent number: 4768838
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a wheel cap comprising a wheel cap body provided with engagement portions to be engaged with a wheel disc, and a linear elastic member mounted to the wheel cap body and adapted to bias the engagement portions in such a direction as to press-contact the engagement portions with the wheel disc, wherein the linear elastic member is in the form of an endless circle having a plurality of loop-like flexible portions along a circumference thereof. With this arrangement, installation of the wheel cap body to the wheel disc may be improved, and a mount space of the flexible portions may be effectively utilized.

  • Patent number: 4709967
Abstract: A wheel cap (i.e., a wheel cover or hub cap) which has a plurality of stopper parts disposed along the circumferential direction of a circumferential part of a base part and each having a stopper surface opposed to the inner peripheral surface of a wheel disk with a gap therebetween, and a ring holder in an endless annular form having a single looped flexible part along the circumferential direction. Using a wheel cap of this structure, the wheel cap is easily fitted to the wheel disk by a small spring load with light weight, and is prevented from being set into an eccentric state when being fitted or upon an impact. Owing to the improved fittability to the wheel disk the wheel cap is not likely to slip off, and effective utilization of an arranging space is made. Furthermore, the wheel cap is accurately produced with ease.
