  • Patent number: 5606255
Abstract: A Hall effect sensing apparatus for a moving object includes a moving magnetic member having concave and convex segments alternately at is periphery, a detector including a pair of Hall effect elements for converting a magnetic signal to an electric signal, a processing circuit for processing signals from the detector, a magnet for providing magnetic field to the Hall effect elements, and a yoke provided in close proximity to the magnet. The yoke has a smaller surface area than that of the magnet and is movably arranged so as to adjust detecting sensitivity of the sensing apparatus. Therefore, even though there are some variances of magnetic characteristics in the detector, the detecting sensitivity of the sensing apparatus can be adjusted to an optimum level by observing a signal outputted from the processing circuit.

  • Patent number: 5149917
Abstract: Strands of a copper alloy containing 0.2 to 10 percent by weight of Sn are braided to form a stranded wire for a wire conductor for a harness having a conductor sectional area of 0.03 to 0.3 mm.sup.2. After the braiding, preferably stranded wire is heat treated so that its tensile strength is maintained at a prescribed level. The wire conductor for a harness has a breaking strength which is equivalent to that of a conventional harness wire, and is hardly broken by an impact. The wire conductor maintains its straightness, and strand ends do not fray upon cutting.

  • Patent number: 4777822
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of hot rolling copper or copper alloys such as copper wires and coppr plates. The present invention has succeeded in remarkably prolonging useful life of the tools used for hot rolling, and improving the surface quality of the rolled products by replacing the conventional methods of hot rolling copper using tools made of cemented carbide, die steel, high-speed steel, etc. by a method using tolls made essentially of Si.sub.3 N.sub.4. Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 tools used in the present invention contain at least one kind of sintering aid selected from the group consisting of Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, AlN, MgO, Y.sub.2 O.sub.3 and ZrO.sub.2, have a sintering density of 90% or more, Rockwell hardness of 88 or more and an average particle diameter of 2.mu. or less, and contain .beta.-type Si.sub.3 N.sub.4 as a main ingredient.

  • Patent number: 4049831
Abstract: A composition containing a fat or oil is obtained by adding with stirring a fat or oil to an aqueous solution containing 0.8% by weight or more in terms of soluble nitrogen content of an aqueous extract from an animal source, which extract contains as main constituent water-soluble and thermally noncoagulable polypeptides, and having a viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 30 centipoises or higher, thus solubilizing said fat or oil without using any artificial emulsifier or surface active agent. The composition is stable and does not separate the fat or oil over a long period of time. A fatty food product of high nutritive value is obtained by use of an edible oil, seasonings, and other additives.
