    Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a compact, fully automatic genetic testing device with which a step of extracting and purifying a nucleic acid from a sample, a step of injecting a solution containing the nucleic acid, and a step of amplifying and detecting the nucleic acid, can be fully automatically carried out, and which enables a physician to carry out genetic testing at a position close to a patient. The fully automatic genetic testing device comprises: a first unit for extracting and purifying a nucleic acid from a sample; a second unit for injecting a solution containing the nucleic acid to a multi-well chip having a reaction site for amplification of the nucleic acid; and a third unit for optically detecting the nucleic acid amplified in the reaction site(s).
