  • Patent number: 11274574
Abstract: A carbon-based fuel gasification power generation system is configured to remove ammonia from syngas using washing water, and effectively use the ammonia-containing washing water. The system includes a gasification facility provided with a water scrubber for removing ammonia in the syngas generated as gasified carbon-based fuel, and a power generation facility provided with a combustor for burning gas for combustion generated in the gasification facility and air for combustion humidified in the humidifying tower, and a gas turbine driven by combustion gas. The ammonia-containing water recovered in the water scrubber is supplied to the humidifying tower. Using the water, compressed air to be supplied to the combustor is humidified.

  • Patent number: 9822704
Abstract: The present invention relates to an operation control method for a gasification power generation system for gasifying carbon-based fuel such as coal in a gasifier using oxygen or oxygen-enriched air as an oxidizing agent, burning the obtained syngas as fuel in a gas turbine, driving the gas turbine by the syngas, driving a steam turbine by steam generated using exhaust heat of the gas turbine, thus executing combined power generation.

  • Publication number: 20140008913
Abstract: A method is provided for reducing an amount of steam to be introduced from the outside for a shift reaction in a coal gasification system. A coal gasification method for gasifying a fuel containing carbon, includes the steps of gasifying the fuel containing carbon by reacting the fuel with a gas containing oxygen; cooling a gas produced in the step of gasifying the fuel by spraying water into the produced gas; removing solid particles contained in the cooled produced gas; decomposing ammonia contained in the produced gas into N2 and H2 by bringing the produced gas, from which the solid particles have been removed, into contact with an ammonia decomposition catalyst; and converting a part of CO contained in the produced gas into CO2 and H2 by bringing the produced gas into contact with a shift catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20090249691
Abstract: Apparatus for gasifying a solid fuel that supplies a solid fuel such as coal by dry condition to a gasification furnace of an entrained-bed type is constructed so as to be able to collect the char discharged from the gasification furnace and re-supply the char to the furnace without using a lock hopper and without changing the char into slurry form. The char discharged from the gasification furnace along with produced gases 53 produced in the gasification furnace is brought into contact with water by a gas cooler 9 and collected. After being dehydrated by a dehydrator 10, the collected char is loaded into a mill 2 or a raw-coal bunker 1. For loading into the raw-coal bunker 1, the char is dried by a drying machine 14, preferably, after the dehydration. According to the present invention, a mixture of the collected char and water can be re-supplied to the gasification furnace without using a lock hopper or a dry feeder.
