  • Patent number: 11176749
Abstract: An imaging unit captures an image of a visual field. A detector detects a position of an eyeball and a sight line of an occupant. A visual point identifier identifies a position of a visual point of the occupant in the visual field, the eye position and the sight line direction. A measuring unit measures a position and a distance of an object included in the image of the visual field. An image generator generates display images based on the eye position and the position and the distance of the object. The display images are displayed on a virtual plane, fused on a fusion plane and displayed as a three-dimensional display on the visual field. The display images are generated to display the three-dimensional image at a given magnification ratio calculated by reducing a geometric display magnification ratio as the distance from the occupant increases.

  • Publication number: 20210300183
Abstract: An in-vehicle display apparatus includes: an image generating unit, an emitting unit, and a reflecting unit. The image generating unit generates, for display information that is presented to a user, an image that includes a right-eye image and a left-eye image with a parallax. The emitting unit emits a projection light that is a light flux that contains the image. The reflecting unit reflects the projection light and forms a stereoscopic image that is superimposed on an outside view. The image generating unit generates the image in which a fusion distance of the stereoscopic image of the display information is changed, within a predetermined period of time, from a current visual distance to a target distance at which the display information is to be ultimately displayed.

  • Patent number: 10209857
Abstract: A display control apparatus performs overlapping display of a highlight image against a notification object that is visually recognized through a picture projection plane of a virtual image display apparatus used by a driver of a vehicle such that the highlight image represents the notification object. A target information acquisition section acquires target information including at least a position and a size of the notification object. A display execution section displays a first highlight image and a second highlight image in a display form capable of identifying each of the first highlight image and the second highlight image based on target information acquired by the target information acquisition section. The first highlight image corresponds to a size of the notification object, while the second highlight image results from enlarging the first highlight image at a predetermined magnification percentage.

  • Publication number: 20100229116
Abstract: A control apparatus includes a voice recognition unit for recognizing user utterance to output a recognized word, a function storage unit for determining and storing a desired function that corresponds to the recognized word, a detector for detecting a preset user operation, a button display unit for displaying on a screen a shortcut button that instructs execution of the desired function stored in the storage unit when the detector detects the preset user operation, and a control unit for controlling execution of the desired function when the shortcut button is operated. By storing the desired function in association with the recognized word and by detecting user instruction, the control apparatus displays a shortcut button for a necessary function only.

  • Publication number: 20070250319
Abstract: Several feature phrases including combinations of words are predetermined to indicate a feature of a song. TF-IDF values are computed based on appearances counts of the feature phrases. A song feature quantity is computed as a vector constituted by the TF-IDF values. This vector is an index indicating the feature of the song. Using the feature phrases results in proper exclusion of a comment not related to the feature of the song itself in computing the song feature quantity. This allows the song feature quantity to match, with a high accuracy, with a mood generated when the song is actually listened to.

  • Patent number: 7249124
Abstract: A vector retrieval/generation/correction unit of a user terminal generates, corrects, and optimizes an inquiry vector on the basis of a vector profile, an inquiry history, a user model, and a user profile. On the other hand, a vector retrieval/generation/correction unit in an information center generates/corrects/optimizes a feature vector on the basis of a vector table, a search history, and a contents description database. In the information center, when an inquiry profile including an inquiry vector is transmitted from the user terminal, an adaptive searching process is executed. According to evaluation made by a contents evaluating unit, proper contents are retrieved from a contents database.

  • Publication number: 20040128141
Abstract: A speech inputted via a microphone is recognized by a speech recognition unit. Based on a recognition result, a dialogue control unit makes a music search unit search a music index database. When a search result includes plural musical compositions, a certain composition is designated from the plural musical compositions, based on an optional search method, to be immediately reproduced. The certain composition can be randomly designated. It can be also designated based on a frequency each composition was reproduced, a date and an hour when each composition is stored, a sale date, or a degree of matching to the inputted speech. This structure enables any musical composition to be immediately reproduced even without user's final input to designate only one of the musical compositions. This results in shortening a non-responding period where no music is being reproduced to enhance a comfort level of the user.

  • Patent number: 6751508
Abstract: A control information output apparatus has a memory unit, an extraction unit and an output unit. The memory unit stores a dependence relationship between each application and a predetermined dependency factor. The memory unit also stores dependency table indicating dependence on the dependence factor of each application. Using the dependency factor value determined with data extracted by the extracting unit, an application list indicating the application having a higher execution request, dependency factor list indicating effective dependency factor and control information comprising a dependence vector and dependence characteristic are outputted from the output unit based on the dependency table and dependence characteristic information of the memory unit.
