  • Patent number: 7022230
Abstract: The invention relates to a filtering apparatus including, inside a filtering tower (1), a filtering section (r), a liquid collecting section (7) and a liquid feeding section (e). The liquid feeding section (e) includes a diffuser (A) attached to an upwardly oriented orifice (5a) formed at a leading end of a liquid feeding pipe (5). The object is to provide an apparatus which allows use of the existing filtering tower without its enlargement and which allows uniform falling of the filtering liquid over the substantially entire top surface of the filter medium layer, thus making it readily possible to maintain the flatness of the top surface of the filter medium layer even when light-weight medium is employed, thereby to allow the filter medium layer as well as the entire filtering apparatus to achieve their desired filtering performance.

  • Patent number: 6926219
Abstract: The present invention relates to a leader member attached to a recording tape to be contained in a recording tape cartridge. A pin is provided at each end of the leader member, and the pins are resiliently projectable by springs. The springs each absorb a load generated when the leader member is attached to or detached from a cartridge case. A receiving portion is provided independently from a connecting portion which connect to the leader member. In order to eliminate changes to a length of the connecting portion due to compression of the spring and to allow smooth connection of the leader member and the connection portion, the pin resiliently projects from the recess provided at an axial center of the receiving.

  • Publication number: 20050091677
Abstract: A parallelepiped urging portion is fixed, via an adhesive, to a distal end surface of a first stopper of a top shell of a disk cartridge. In a state of locking by a locking member, the urging portion is pushed by a step portion of a closing side stopper, and elastic force accumulates at the urging portion. In this state, when the state of locking by the locking member is released, the urging portion is restored, an inner rotor is urged, via the closing side stopper, in the direction in which an opening opens, and the inner rotor is rotated in a direction of opening the opening.
