  • Patent number: 4756926
Abstract: An electroconductive core-sheath composite fiber comprising a core containing an electroconductive substance and a sheath formed of a fiber-forming polymer, which surrounds the core, wherein the core is completely covered with the sheath, the electric resistance of the surface of the fiber is lower than 10.sup.10 .OMEGA./cm, and the ratio of the electric resistance (.OMEGA./cm) of the surface to the internal electric resistance between the sections is lower than 10.sup.3.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 19, 1987
Date of Patent: July 12, 1988
    Assignee: Teijin Limited

  • Patent number: 4631066
Abstract: The light-resistance of aromatic polyamide fibers can be improved by heat-treating the aromatic polyamide fibers in the presence of urea and thiourea. The improvement in the light-resistance is enhanced by using aromatic polyamide fibers having an ultraviolet absorber incorporated therein.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 18, 1984
Date of Patent: December 23, 1986
    Assignee: Teijin Limited
Inventors: Norihiro Minemura, Fumiki Takabayashi, Setsuo Yamada
  • Patent number: 4165217
Abstract: A method for treating a wash waste liquor, which comprises treating fibers which have been dyed by applying a dye liquor containing a solution or dispersion of a non-ionic dye in a high boiling water-soluble organic medium or a mixture of it with a low boiling medium and then heating the fibers, with a low boiling organic solvent capable of dissolving the high boiling water-soluble organic medium, thereby to wash out the unfixed dye and the high boiling water-soluble organic medium remaining on the surface of the fibers; concentrating the wash waste liquor by evaporating at least a part of the low boiling organic solvent contained in the waste liquor; and extracting the high boiling organic medium from the concentrate using water.
    Type: Grant
