  • Publication number: 20150295504
Abstract: An electric power conversion apparatus includes a transformer having a primary coil and a secondary coil; a primary-side full bridge circuit having first and second arm circuits in parallel, respective midpoints of the first and second arm circuits being connected via the primary coil; a secondary-side full bridge circuit having third and fourth arm circuits in parallel, respective midpoints of the third and fourth arm circuits being connected via the secondary coil. The number of turns of the secondary coil between the latter respective midpoints is switched and transmission power transmitted between the primary-side and the secondary-side full bridge circuits is controlled through adjustment of a phase difference in switching between the first arm circuit and the third arm circuit and a phase difference in switching between the second arm circuit and the fourth arm circuit.

  • Publication number: 20150295445
Abstract: Assuming that a transformer has a primary to secondary winding turn ratio 1:N, VR denotes a voltage of regenerated power, VCd denotes a discharge final voltage of a first battery connected with a transformer-primary-side center tap, VCc denotes a charge final voltage of the first battery, VBd denotes a discharge final voltage of a second battery connected with a transformer-secondary-side full bridge circuit, VBc denotes a charge final voltage of the second battery and Drain denotes a lower limit of a duty ratio D of a transformer-primary-side full bridge circuit, an apparatus determines upon (VBd/N)?VR?(VBc/N) that the first and second batteries may be able to be charged with regenerated power and determines upon VCd?VR?(VCc/Dmin) that the first battery may be able to be charged with the regenerated power.

  • Publication number: 20150263633
Abstract: A power conversion apparatus includes a transformer; a primary side full bridge circuit provided on a primary side of the transformer; a first port connected to the primary side full bridge circuit; a second port connected to a center tap of the primary side of the transformer; a secondary side full bridge circuit provided on a secondary side of the transformer; a third port connected to the secondary side full bridge circuit; and a control unit configured to cause an upper arm of the secondary side full bridge circuit to operate in an active region in a case where a capacitor connected to the third port is charged with a transmitted power transmitted to the secondary side full bridge circuit via the transformer from the primary side full bridge circuit when power of the second port is stepped up and the stepped up power is output to the first port.

  • Patent number: 9048704
Abstract: A stator structure which enables coils to be fitted over teeth while the circularity of the stator core and the parallelism between the end surfaces of the stator core are maintained. A stator structure is provided with: a stator core which is formed by stacking steel plates and which comprises a yoke and teeth; and coils which are fitted over the teeth so as to surround the teeth. A cut is formed only in one part of the yoke, and the cut is opened. Opening the cut allows the coils to be fitted over the teeth while the circularity of the stator core and the parallelism between the end surfaces of the stator core are maintained.

  • Publication number: 20150034269
Abstract: A pulling-up-type continuous casting apparatus that lets molten metal solidify while pulling up a drawing section for drawing the molten metal from a molten-metal surface of the molten metal held in a holding furnace, and thereby shapes the molten metal, includes means for applying a non-contact force to held molten metal, the held molten metal being molten metal that has been drawn from the molten-metal surface by the drawing section but has not solidified yet.

  • Publication number: 20130276296
Abstract: In a method for manufacturing a stator core, core steel plates each having a yoke part and teeth parts are sequentially formed and the core steel plates are laminated one on another to produce the stator core. This method includes forming a cut section extending in a radial direction in each of the core steel plates in the progressive press process so that the cut section is located in only one place in a circumferential direction.

  • Patent number: 8242646
Abstract: There is provided a rotating electric machine capable of preventing a coolant from being retained at an outer surface of a rotor. This rotating electric machine includes a rotation shaft provided so as to be rotatable, a core body secured to the rotation shaft, a permanent magnet embedded in the core body, and an end plate provided so as to be opposed to an axial end surface of the core body. A first coolant channel is formed in the rotation shaft to allow a coolant to flow therethrough. A second coolant channel is formed between the end plate and the axial end surface of the core body to communicate with the first coolant channel. A partition wall that partitions the second coolant channel in a circumferential direction and a path wall that guides the coolant in the second coolant channel toward an outer peripheral edge region of the axial end surface where the permanent magnet is placed are formed inside the second coolant channel.
