Abstract: A medical instrument in which an inorganic salt solid such as apatite into which a peptide hormone or the like is embedded is placed so that a metal or the like is coated therewith, in which the inorganic salt solid is provided by controlled delay co-precipitation or the like in an unstable supersaturated calcium phosphate solution, and the medical instrument is exposed to ionizing radiation at a dose sufficient for sterilization.

Abstract: A play data storage section 22 stores a plurality of pieces of play data concerning the play situation of a plurality of pieces of contents. A library screen generating section 44 generates a selection screen which allows a user to select a piece of content to be played, and which includes images indicating the play situations for the plurality of pieces of contents, on the basis of the play data stored in the play data storage section 22. An output section 34 causes the selection screen generated by the library screen generating section 44 to be displayed.

Abstract: The eyelash lengthening platform for an eyelash perm has a cross-sectional shape that resembles an airplane wing cross-section. The front portion is rounded to provide some curl to the eyelashes. The middle portion and back portion have a slight curvature to their top surface. The middle portion and back portion provide extra surface support for long eyelashes and keep the tips of the eyelash straight, for the appearance of longer length.

Abstract: The present invention relates to benzo?c!phenanthridinium derivative of the general formula A: ##STR1## wherein M and N individually represent a hydroxyl or lower alkoxy group, or M and N simultaneously represent a hydrogen atom or together form a methylenedioxy group, X.sup.- represents an acid residue or a hydrogen acid residue, and R represents a lower alkyl group, and a process for preparing such derivatives. The compounds exhibit both potent antitumor activity and platelet aggregation inhibition activity, and are expected to be useful for the treatment of tumors. The process has good reproducibility and may be effected under moderate conditions, and therefore the process is practically useful. In addition, hydrogen salts of the present compounds have an enhanced stability, which is an advantage in formulating the same into pharmaceutical preparations.

Abstract: A disposable fermenter that may be used in the place of a more expensive jar fermenter giving the same performance in a temperature controlled room in place of a sterilized room, with the advantage of not being made of glass which breaks and which may be transported as is, by just sealing the bag.A flat tube made of plastic film is inserted into the bottom of the bag with the tube sealed to the bag, leaving an opening through the tube so the opening may not be closed. Once the addition of liquid, semi fluid or solid media is made, the breather is set and the bag opening is sealed, the bag is sterilized before or after the bag opening is sealed and the aeration is done through the flat tube.
