Patent number: 7948140Abstract: When electric wires (joint conductors) are disposed adjacent each other in a peeled state of coatings, a gap corresponding to the total thickness of both conductors' insulating films as skin layers is formed between end joined face portions of the conductors. The gap becomes larger because the conductors are tapered. Therefore, the adhesion between both conductors is impaired, with a consequent fear of occurrence of joining imperfection. In opposed joined face portions of electric wires (joint conductors), the conductors are deformed from the tips of their axes to the joined face side in such a manner that exposed portions at the tips of the conductors and insulating film faces located in the vicinity thereof are flush with each other or the exposed portions are projected.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2009Date of Patent: May 24, 2011Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Takeshi Sakai, Yoshimi Mori, Yasuhiko Kimura, Masahiko Honma, Fuminori Ishikawa

Patent number: 6955287Abstract: An upper shearing blade equipped with a protrusion of a triangle-columnar shape and a lower shearing blade equipped with a protrusion of the same shape are applied onto the overlapped portion of metal plates to be bonded, and then pressed into the metal plates in an oblique direction inclined with respect to the thickness direction by a stroke in such a range that the metal plates are not completely cut off. The operating loci of the upper, shearing blade and the lower shearing blade are overlapped each other so that one falls inside the other, and the sheared surfaces of the metal plates are formed into a bonded portion by plastic flow deformation. Therein, since a compressive force is applied onto the portions to be bonded, the portion being defined by the amount of overlap, and the portions are compressed to form a compressed portion after completion of bonding, the bonding strength enhances.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2000Date of Patent: October 18, 2005Assignees: Hitachi, Ltd., Pohang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., Research Institution of Industrial Science and TechnologyInventors: Kenji Horii, Yasutsugu Yoshimura, Tadashi Nishino, Takashi Kamoshita, Takayoshi Tomino, Fuminori Ishikawa, Takao Funamoto, Takashi Mashiko, Kenjiro Narita, Jong-Keun Kim, Ki-Chol Kim, Jong-Sub Lee, Hwang-Kyu Hwang, Jung-Sik Lee, Jin-Hee Kim

Patent number: 5773124Abstract: This invention relates to the magnetic recording medium, its manufacturing method and the magnetic disk apparatus, in which the ferromagnetic thin film is formed on the substrate board, and the protective layer is provided on that. A Magnetic recording medium of the has at least one layer of the protective layer on the magnetic surface, which is characterized in that the surface of the protective layer is provided with the high noncontinuous large resistance layer, and the density of the surface of the protective layer is higher than other regions other than the said surface. The magnetic recording medium has the surface of the protective layer which contains at least one kind or more of the element of the inert gas element, the halogen element and hydrogen. Therefore, when making a lower flying height of the magnetic head is achieved, the slide durability over the long term is improved, particularly, the slide durability of the magnetic disk apparatus using the MR head can be improved.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 1994Date of Patent: June 30, 1998Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Fuminori Ishikawa, Hideaki Tanaka, Toshinori Hirano, Hiroko Saito, Kenichi Gomi, Hiroshi Yashiki, Youichi Inomata, Yoshihiro Moriguchi

Patent number: 5252418Abstract: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a photoconductive layer comprising a photoconductor, a support for the photoconductive layer and a surface layer formed on the photoconductive layer and comprising a curable resin film and an inorganic insulator pieces having a size larger than the film thickness of the curable resin film. In order to prevent the image blurring of an a-Si:H photoreceptor, on the outermost surface of the photoreceptor was formed a surface layer having a structure in which inorganic insulator pieces have protruded from the curable resin film. Since the curable resin is of high resistance and shows no quality change by corona irradiation, and besides the protruding inorganic insulator pieces prevent the abrasion of the resin, the surface layer having a long life and excellent humidity resistance, durability for corona irradiation and abrasion resistance can be realized.Type: GrantFiled: August 14, 1990Date of Patent: October 12, 1993Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Fuminori Ishikawa, Akira Sato, Kunihiro Tamahashi, Masatoshi Wakagi, Katsumi Tamura, Masanobu Hanazono, Mitsuyoshi Shoji, Takayuki Nakakawaji, Yutaka Ito, Shigeki Komatsuzaki, Motoo Akagi, Masaaki Imamura
