  • Patent number: 5805846
Abstract: A method for dynamically sharing an application in a conference system while maintaining state regardless of whether the application is under execution in all conference devices. The conference system includes a plurality of conference devices with at least one conference device executing an application program.

  • Patent number: 5654726
Abstract: A pointing object display technique that can manipulate a pointing object without the user being aware of a difference in display time between sites in a distributed computing environment is disclosed. It is so designed that with whatever level of time difference the receiver side receives a pointing object is displayed and confirmed using an auxiliary pointing object on the sender's screen and the positional difference on the display is absorbed. In addition, the receiver side predicts the current position of the sender's pointing object by taking the time difference on the display into account and displays a pointing object at the predicted position on the receiver's screen.

  • Patent number: 5159443
Abstract: An image signal encoding apparatus that receives a three primary color image signal composed of binary red, green and blue colors. A converter applies predetermined logical conversion to the three primary color image signal to produce first, second and third binary signals. When receiving a signal indicative of black, the converter generates first, second and third binary signals having a first level value. When receiving a signal indicative of white, the converter generates a first binary signal having a second level value and second and third binary signals having the first level value. The image signal decoding apparatus receives the first, second and third binary signals, and converts these binary signals to a three primary color image signal composed of a binary red, green and blue color signals.

  • Patent number: 4888795
Abstract: In an audiovisual communication, a first high fram rate video signal is derived from a motion image and converted to a low fram rate low resolution multiframe signal. A second high frame rate video signal is derived from an still image and converted to a single frame high resolution signal. Because of the low frame rates, the frequencies of the low and high resolution signals are within the range of frequencies of a telephone exchange line. A switching matrix is provided to sequentially couple both the low and high resolution signals to a transmission line in response to a mode select signal. The single frame high resolution signal is stored into a memory at the receiving end and repeatedly retrieved out of the memory into a display through the switching matrix.

  • Patent number: 4043240
Abstract: For producing musical sounds of a pure scale, an electric instrument comprises a clock generator for producing clock pulses of a period equal to a rational multiple of a predetermined period that gives, when multiplied by integers, tones within an octave of the scale. A binary counter counts input pulses derived from the clock pulses. Keys or a memory produces binary signals corresponding to the integers in accordance with a melody. When counts in the counter reach the value of the integers, wired logic circuits clear the counter. The periods at which the counter is cleared produce the melody. In order to correct pitches of several tones, the clock pulses are controlled on deriving the input pulses therefrom either by algebraic addition of pulses or variable division of the clock pulses into groups. With this control, the instrument can produce tones of a chromatic scale within five additional tones within an octave are of a tempered scale.

  • Patent number: 3933660
Abstract: A reducing hot rolling oil for copper and copper alloys comprising 1000 parts by weight of water, 6 - 200 parts by weight of at least one member selected from the group consisting of carboxylic acid type, sulfate type and phosphate type anionic surface active agents, and 0.8 - 200 parts by weight of at least one hydroxyl group-containing compound selected from the group consisting of alcohols, alkylene glycols and glycol ethers. The rolling oil can provide copper and copper alloys with lubricity, oxide film removing ability and oxide film formation preventing ability by spraying between a rolling mill and the metal to be rolled on the hot rolling of copper and copper alloys. The present invention relates to a rolling oil.
