  • Publication number: 20070053884
Abstract: Subjects of the present invention are to establish a technology for separating, isolating and culturing a stem cell derived from adult tissue while retaining the in vivo properties thereof, and to provide a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for diseases which accompany tissue injury, which comprises a stem cell derived from adult tissue as an active ingredient. In order to solve the subjects, the present invention provides a stem cell derived from adult tissue which is CD45-negative and CXCR4-positive. Also, the present invention provides a preventive and/or therapeutic agent for diseases which accompany tissue injury, which comprises the stem cell as an active ingredient.

  • Patent number: 5346522
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed which place a glass blank on a lower mold arranged in an opposed relation to an upper mold, heat these molds and glass blank by an infrared lamp unit or high-frequency coil arranged around the molds and press-mold an optical glass element. In the method and apparatus, the infrared lamp unit or high-frequency coil is supported by a supporting mechanism such that it is movable along a direction in which the mold is moved. In cases where a relative position of the infrared lamp unit or high-frequency coil to the mold varies depending upon the shape and size of such molds or the shape and size of optical glass elements obtained, the infrared lamp or high-frequency coil is adjustably moved relative to the mold by a movable mechanism using a motor or air cylinder as an operation source. By using temperature sensors attached to both the molds, the temperatures of the upper and lower molds are controlled to a corresponding desired level.

  • Patent number: 5183484
Abstract: An improved process for recovery of CO.sub.2 gas in a raw material mixed gas by a PSA apparatus. The process is characterized in that the removal of water in the raw material mixed gas is carried out by cooling the raw material mixed gas and passing it through a rotary dehumidification apparatus to remove water in the raw material mixed gas, and the regeneration of the rotary dehumidification apparatus is carried out by using as a gas for regeneration unadsorbed gas discharged from an adsorption step in the PSA apparatus with heating.

  • Patent number: 4798180
Abstract: A self-contained hydraulic lash adjuster in which a bag member is disposed in a reservoir chamber formed within a plunger. An open upper end portion of the bag member is fixedly mounted with a metal ring therein so as to be fixed to an upper end portion of the reservoir chamber in spite of successive deformation of the bag member in accordance with oil-volume variation in the reservoir chamber.

  • Patent number: 4385599
Abstract: A self-contained hydraulic lash adjuster in which a sealing member is provided on the plunger for providing fluid tight seal between the plunger and a cylinder member. The sealing member is of a pair of lips both of which are in fluid tight contact with the cylinder member and are alternately deformed onto the cylinder member upon upward or downward movement of the plunger. During movement of the plunger, fluid-tight seal between the plunger and the cylinder member is assured with a little sliding friction therebetween.
