  • Publication number: 20070123224
Abstract: This invention is to provide a technology for preventing information from being leaked from a mobile phone. For this purpose, this invention includes: receiving a request for data to select a calling destination from a first mobile phone capable of executing voice communication and data communication; identifying calling destination candidates registered in a data storage in association with a user of the first mobile phone by identification information other than telephone numbers of the calling destination candidates; and transmitting data to specify and select anyone of the identified calling destination candidates by the identification information other than the telephone numbers of the calling destination candidates, to the first mobile phone. Because the telephone number of the client is not sent to the mobile phone, the leakage of the client information is prevented, even if the mobile phone is stolen.

  • Patent number: 5739992
Abstract: A recording/reproducing apparatus includes a plurality of toroidally arranged housing sections housing a plurality of disc cartridges in a stacked condition. Each housing section has apertures on its opposite lateral sides for taking out or housing the disc cartridges in the fore-and-aft direction parallel to the stacking direction of the disc cartridges. A lift mechanism supports and lifts the recording/reproducing units in the stacking direction of each of the recording/reproducing units. A transfer mechanism lifted by the lift mechanism along with the recording/reproducing units is adapted for taking out or housing the disc cartridges housed within the housing sections via one of the apertures of one of the housing sections facing each recording/reproducing unit.

  • Patent number: 5247408
Abstract: A disc chucking apparatus for use in an automatic disc changer for a disc player includes an arm base 28 which is vertically movable and reversible with respect to a chassis 1, and a disc base 34 fixedly mounted on the arm member. The disc base 34 has a central insert member 34a for being inserted in the central hole of a disc and a disc support surface 34b for abutting engagement with a peripheral edge of the central hole of the disc. A rod 35 extends axially slidably through the central insert member 34a, and a pantographic link mechanism 38 is operatively coupled between the disc base 34 and an end of the rod 35, and collapsible and extensible in response to sliding movement of the rod 35. When the arm base 28 is vertically moved in response to sliding movement of the rod 35, with the presser assembly 38 extended, the central insert member 34a and the presser assembly 38 are inserted into the central hole of the disc.

  • Patent number: 4796328
Abstract: An eraser capable of erasing characters and the like written on paper with a ball-point pen, fountain pen, typewriter, word processor, color pencil or the like. The eraser has an integral structure composed of plural types of eraser pieces having different hardnesses and an abrasive material, the eraser pieces and the abrasive material existing respectively in a particulately dispersed state. A method for manufacturing such eraser comprises steps of kneading plural types of major eraser materials which have been previously vulcanized and shaped at need with an abrasive material and vulcanizing and shaping the resulting mixture. These plural types of major eraser materials are such that erasers having different hardnesses can be produced if each of the major eraser materials is either vulcanized or heated and shaped alone and that particles of the major eraser materials exist independently from one another even if these materials are kneaded.
