    Abstract: According to one embodiment, the X-ray high voltage apparatus includes a plurality of converters and control circuitry. The plurality of converters converts AC power to DC power. Each converter includes choke coils and three-phase rectifier circuits. Each choke coil has a main winding and is provided on each phase line of three-phase AC power supply lines. Each three-phase rectifier circuit includes a switching device. The control circuitry is configured to interleave the plurality of converters. Each choke coil of the each converter has the single main winding and two correction windings of a first correction winding and a second correction winding. Each of currents flowing through the respective two correction windings is a sum of currents flowing through the plurality of converters performing interleaving operation, and flows so as to cancel a magnetic flux generated in the main winding.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an X-ray high voltage apparatus includes an AC/DC converter, an inverter circuit, a high voltage generator, a power storage device, and the DC/DC converter. The AC/DC converter converts an AC voltage into a DC voltage. The inverter circuit converts the DC voltage into an AC voltage. The high voltage generator externally outputs a power obtained by boosting and rectifying the AC voltage outputted by the inverter circuit. The DC/DC converter receives the DC voltage, and charges and discharges the power storage device. The DC/DC converter is a multi-phase converter including DC/DC converter blocks. Each of the DC/DC converter blocks includes a choke coil. The choke coil is provided with a correction winding for correcting a deviation of a magnetic flux caused by a DC current superimposed on the corresponding choke coil. The correction windings are applied with a summed current based on the DC/DC converter.

    Abstract: X-ray CT apparatus is provided in which the photon energy distribution of X-rays to be radiated is flattened. X-ray CT apparatus includes an X-ray tube, a detector, a data acquisition system, a tube voltage generator, and a grid controller. The X-ray tube radiates X-rays onto a subject. The detector includes multiple detection elements for detecting photons forming the X-rays. The data acquisition system counts the number of the detected photons to acquire projection data based on the counted photons. The tube voltage generator applies the tube voltage to the X-ray tube while changing the tube voltage of the X-ray tube in a predetermined cycle. A tube current controller decreases the tube current upon an increase in the tube voltage, and increases the tube current upon a decrease in the tube voltage. Thus, the photon energy distribution of the X-rays radiated from the X-ray tube is flattened.

    Abstract: An X-ray tube and an X-ray detector are arranged opposing one another. X-rays are irradiated from the X-ray tube by revolving around the subject. An X-ray image is obtained based on the X-rays that penetrate the subject and are detected by the X-ray detector. The high voltage generator has an inverter that supplies a voltage to the X-ray tube by switching to a predetermined operating frequency during revolution of the X-ray tube. Regarding the frequency adjustable part, the operating frequency of the inverter is adjustable such that it is a multiple of the collection rate, which is the number of X-ray images obtained per one revolution of the X-ray tube. The timing generator may adjust the voltage supplied to the X-ray tube at a timing synchronized with the operating frequency of the inverter.

    Abstract: A power supply circuit of voltage resonance type for supplying a high DC voltage to an X-ray tube includes a transformer, a capacitor for forming a resonance circuit in cooperation with a primary winding of the transformer, and a rectifier circuit coupled with a secondary winding of the transformer for supplying a high DC voltage to the x-ray tube. At the beginning of the operation of the power supply circuit, a great change of resonance conditions is offset to quicken the rise of the X-ray tube voltage. To this end, a power supply drive circuit to enable (turn on) the switches is arranged to prevent the switches from being enabled before one cycle of the resonance current in the resonance circuit is completed.
