  • Patent number: 7980576
Abstract: A vehicular suspension arm is provided in which an arm main body (1) includes a main plate (2) press-formed as a main part of the arm main body and having a short cylindrical part (EB) provided integrally with one end by flanging, and a reinforcing plate (H) superimposed on one of upper and lower faces of the main plate (2) and reinforcing the main plate (2). The reinforcing plate (H) has an eye-shaped head part (Ha) formed in an annular shape and arranged coaxially with the short cylindrical part (EB), and a tail part (Hb) extending integrally from the eye-shaped head part (Ha) along the longitudinal direction of the main plate (2), is formed from a single plate material that is thicker than the main plate (2), and has at least the tail part (Hb) welded to the main plate (2). A bush press-fit portion (P1) is formed from an inner peripheral face of the eye-shaped head part (Ha) and an inner peripheral face of the short cylindrical part (EB).

  • Publication number: 20070290474
Abstract: A torsion beam suspension is provided in which an open end face at the rear end of a trailing arm is butt-welded to a spindle support plate, wherein a front bent flange (13F) is provided integrally with a front end part of a plate main body (13M) of the spindle support plate (13), the front bent flange (13F) extending forward along an outer face of a rear end part of the trailing arm (10) and having its front edge welded (w3) to the outer face of the rear end part, and a rear bent flange (13R) is provided integrally with a rear end part of the plate main body (13M), the rear bent flange (13R) engaging with and being welded (w4) to a rear edge part of the trailing arm (10), a spindle base plate (14b) being superimposed on and secured (w2) to an outer face of the plate main body (13M) and comprising four threaded hole portions (Sfu, Sfd, Sru, Srd) for bolting a brake related plate-shaped component (P) to the spindle base plate (14b), the four threaded hole portions (Sfu, Sfd, Sru, Srd) being at front, rear, upp

  • Patent number: 7284765
Abstract: In a torsion beam suspension including: a pair of left and right trailing arms 1; a torsion beam 2 providing connection between the trailing arms 1; and gussets 3 which are U-shaped in section and substantially triangular in plane view and which are welded to inner side surfaces of connecting portions between the trailing arms 1 and the torsion beam 2, seat surfaces 9 are formed by crushing at left and right opposite end portions of a rear wall 2a of the torsion beam 2, the seat surfaces 9 being offset forward from a general outer surface of the rear wall 2a by an amount e larger than a plate thickness t of the gussets 3, and each gusset 3 includes an inner end edge portion 3d superposed on an intermediate portion in a lateral direction of the seat surface 9, and upper and lower front edge portions 3c, 3c connected by a weld W3 to upper and lower portions of an outer surface of the torsion beam 2.

  • Patent number: 5832368
Abstract: A base station selection scheme for a CDMA cellular system capable of reducing the transmission power of the mobile station and increasing the subscriber capacity, by accounting for the uplink interference power at each base station. An uplink interference level is measured at each base station, while a perch channel is transmitted from each base station to the mobile station, and a perch channel reception level of the perch channel transmitted from each base station is measured at the mobile station. Then, a connection target base station to be connected with the mobile station is selected according to a received SIR (Signal to Interference Ratio) of each base station determined from the perch channel reception level measured at the mobile station and the uplink interference level measured at each base station.

  • Patent number: 5341461
Abstract: Creating a solid (i.e. three dimensional) model with a CAD system, from a two dimensional representation, includes dividing the two dimensional representation into a plurality of shape portions, inputting them into the CAD system, rendering them solid, and then connecting them into the desired solid model. Among the shape portions are those whose cross-sections are substantially uniform. In inputting, the operator of the CAD system need only input line segments of the shape portions in approximately the correct orientation.

  • Patent number: 5175322
Abstract: A continuous process for preparing a metallic soap by a double decomposition process is disclosed, in which an aqueous solution of an alkali soap and an inorganic metal salt are separately fed directly on the surface of the rotating impeller of a mixer to instantaneously mix them together and the resulting metallic soap aqueous slurry is discharged out from the mixer without delay. Metallic soaps free from contamination with unreacted starting materials or by-products can be continuously obtained using small-sized reactor vessels with a reduced energy.
