  • Publication number: 20150016121
Abstract: An illumination apparatus includes a radiating fin exposed externally on an upper surface of a casing having a light source and a drive unit accommodated therein, and a securing portion to secure the casing to a ceiling surface. The radiating fin includes a ventilation path that is provided in the form of a groove located between a plurality of fin portions extending in a first direction parallel to each other and has opposite ends in the first direction, externally opened. The securing portion allows the radiating fin to be disposed with a distance from the ceiling surface. When the illumination apparatus is installed on the ceiling surface the radiating fin and the ceiling surface form a space having opposite ends in the first direction, each externally opened, and opposite ends in a second direction corresponding to a direction in which the plurality of fin portions are aligned, each externally opened.

  • Patent number: 8475003
Abstract: Substantially cylindrical supporting units are formed at both sides of a lens. The supporting units are to adjust the separation distance between the lens and the surface of a substrate depending on the height dimension of a light emitting diode mounted on the substrate from the substrate face when the lens body is fixed to the substrate. A cylindrical convex part is formed at a part of the tip face of the supporting unit in a concentric fashion relative to the supporting unit, and a cylindrical positioning unit is formed at a part of the tip face of the convex part in a concentric fashion. The positioning unit functions as a member for positioning when the substrate and the lens body are fixed to each other.
