  • Patent number: 7349935
Abstract: In this invention, a random number generation apparatus inputs unperiodic random noise n generated by a noise source 1 to a waveform shaping circuit 2 to generate a random pulse wave P1. Next, the random number generation apparatus inputs the random pulse wave P1 and a clock c1 from an oscillator 3 to a sample-and-hold circuit 4 to generate a constant periodic binary pulse sequence P2. Subsequently, the binary pulse sequence P2 and a half divided clock c2, which is the clock c1 half divided by the divider 5, are inputted to a switching circuit 6, and the polarity of the binary pulse sequence P2 is reversed at intervals of one period to output a smoothed binary pulse sequence P3 in which appearance balance of 1/0 code is smoothed.

  • Publication number: 20030123697
Abstract: A compression method of digital signature by a simple procedure not requiring a huge amount of calculation, all the way being one-way, wherein a series of numerals a(k) of an arbitrary length is input and arranged in a matrix A(n×n) according to a predetermined arrangement procedure (step P01), next, an algebraic value taken as modulo 10 which is an addition value of respective digits in the line direction and row direction of the matrix A(n×n) is output as compressed numeral A′(n+n) (step P02), thereby, numerals of n digits of respective lines and rows are compressed to a single digit, and the matrix A(n×n) of n×n digits as the whole is compressed to a compressed numeral A′(n+n) of n+n digits in length and width, then, it is judged whether there is a remainder of the series of numerals a(k) to be input, and if there is none, the processing is terminated (step P03), and in case there is a remainder to be input, it is arranged in a matrix A(n×n) accordin

  • Patent number: 4740383
Abstract: A method for checking the degree of plasma treatment of an article. The method comprises depositing a substance able to change color as a result of plasma treatment on a carrier, the carrier having pores having an average pore size of 0.2-3 .mu.m, placing the carrier having said substance deposited thereon near the surface of the article, subjecting the substance carrying carrier and the article to plasma treatment, and evaluating the color change that has occurred in the substance.
