  • Patent number: 8362844
Abstract: A delay circuit includes a delay unit having a first and a second power supply terminals, a pair of differential signal input terminals and a pair of differential signal output terminals. The signals entered to the pair of differential signal input terminals are delayed and output at the pair of differential signal output terminals. The delay circuit also includes a current controller that exercises control to cause a current of a current source, controlled by a current control terminal, to flow through the first and second power supply terminals of the delay unit. The delay circuit also includes a voltage controller that exercises control to provide for a constant potential difference between the first and the second power supply terminals (FIG. 1).

  • Publication number: 20090227311
Abstract: A poker gaming machine executes a poker game employing cards including trump cards and a special card. The special card functions as a wild card with respect to a specific type trump card. The specific type trump card is a trump card constituting one portion of card types from all types of trump card. If the special card is included in the player's hand, the poker gaming machine regards the special card as a specific type trump card and makes a judgment with respect to establishment of a poker combination.

  • Patent number: 6907095
Abstract: A clock ride-over circuit in which clock ride-over may be achieved even if jitter is contained in clocks prior to and subsequent to ride-over and no control input signal for write and readout is applied from outside. A clock prior to rideover CLK—1 is detected by a clock subsequent to ride-over CLK—2 which is of a higher speed than the clock prior to ride-over. A timing signal TIM of a constant period, generated by a counter adapted for self-running with the clock prior to ride-over, is compared to the phase comparison signal COMP which is the result of the clock detection. Stable clock ride-over is possible by the phase comparison signal COMP having a pulse width larger than the jitter period of the clock subsequent to ride-over.

A static electricity protection circuit section is provided on the same chip as the plurality of circuit sections and connected to the plurality of power supply systems. The protection circuit section includes one or more common potential lines to enable current generated as a result of static electricity to flow between the plurality of power supply systems. The protection circuit section includes a plurality of protection elements, each of which is a diode having an orientation determined based upon potentials of two lines to which the diode is to be connected. When the protection circuit includes one common potential line, the common potential line is set to a potential equal to or higher than the highest potential of the power supply systems, or a potential equal to or lower than the lowest potential of the power supply systems.

  • Patent number: 5230023
Abstract: In a method for controlling an external machine by a voice command, a voice pattern which is extracted from a voice supplied through a microphone is compared with reference voice patterns to pick up one of them which corresponds to a certain voice command to control an external machine, and a similarity between the voice pattern and the reference voice pattern is calculated. Then, a control signal is supplied to the external machine after a waiting time passes. The waiting time is determined dependent on the similarity such that the waiting time is relatively long when the similarity is low and is determined relatively short when the similarity is high, so that an operator has a sufficient time to judge whether the voice command is the desired one.
