  • Publication number: 20130280123
Abstract: Methods of reducing the capillary forces experienced by fragile high aspect ratio structures during drying to substantially prevent damage to said high aspect ratio structures during drying. They include modifying the surface of the high aspect ratio structures such that the forces are sufficiently minimized and as such less than 10% of the high aspect ratio features will have bent or collapsed during drying of the structure having said features thereon.

  • Patent number: 8561824
Abstract: [Objective] To provide a box that allows easy tasks involved in assembling and disassembling and a novel plate material connecting structure adapted thereto. [Means to solve the problem] An assembly box comprises: a frame 1 (or 10) that is rectangular as seen from the top and whose four sides are formed from plate materials 11a and the like which are square as seen from the front; and a base 2 that has a placement plane 2a for the frame 1 and guides 21 and the like for supporting the plate materials constituting the frame 1 on the placement plane 2a. A first connecting part 111 and a second connecting part 122 (or a first connecting part 121 and a second connecting part 112) are positioned at corners of the frame 1 and have each a detachable locking mechanism. The locking mechanism is configured to separate two connected plate materials by inclining either one of the plate materials at a predetermined or larger angle with reference to the plate material connecting part.

  • Patent number: 4698605
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to an improved LC filter which includes a cylindrical ferrite member of a semi-conductor material formed with an inner bore which axially extends through its central portion, and having its grain boundary and/or at least its outer peripheral surface formed into an insulating layer, an electrode provided at least on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical ferrite member, and a through-conductor inserted into the inner bore of the cylindrical ferrite member.

  • Patent number: 4305158
Abstract: A television tuner comprises a high frequency amplifier for receiving a high frequency signal received by an antenna, a local oscillator, and a mixer for mixing the high frequency signal from the high frequency amplifier and the oscillation frequency signal from the local oscillator for providing an intermediate frequency signal. The high frequency amplifier comprises a high frequency amplifying transistor, and a group of acoustic surface wave filter elements each exhibiting a high band pass characteristic corresponding to each of the television channels. The output of each filter in the filter group is transferred to the mixer through a corresponding switching device among a corresponding plurality of semconductor switching devices individually coupled between the corresponding output terminals of the filters and the ground by turning off the semiconductor switching device corresponding to a desired channel and turning on the remaining switching devices.

  • Patent number: 4275357
Abstract: An active filter includes two differential amplifiers. The first amplifier has its inverting input connected to an input terminal of the active filter, its non-inverting input connected to ground through a resistor. A resistor and a capacitor are connected in parallel between the inverting input and output of the first amplifier. The second amplifier has its non-inverting input connected through a resistor to the output of the first differential amplifier and also through a capacitor to ground, its inverting input connected through a resistor to ground and also through a capacitor to its output. A resistor is connected between output of the second amplifier and the inverting input of the first amplifier.
