    Abstract: Provided is a substrate connection structure using a substrate connector capable of: ensuring a sufficient distance for adjusting positional misalignment even when the size and height of the substrate connector are reduced; preventing connector breakdown during the connecting operation thereof; and visually checking the connection thereof. A guide protrusion is provided at a mate-side end face of a guided portion so as to protrude farther beyond a mate-side substrate mounting surface when the plug is fitted into the socket. A first-side guide face is formed in an edge portion of an opening in a guide groove and the guide protrusion is provided with a second-side guide face slidable with the first-side guide face so as to lead the guided portion into the guide groove. Also, interference between the guide protrusion and the mate-side substrate is prevented from occurring.

    Abstract: A module connector has a simple module base connector capable of being used instead of a module socket, thereby allowing connection to wiring members such as an inexpensive flexible flat cable. The module base connector, formed as a thin plate, is interposed between a plurality of terminals of a small-sized module and a wiring member. This base connector includes a fitting frame and a connector housing which are formed integrally. A module fitting part of the fitting frame is provided with a terminal pattern electrically connected to the plurality of terminals of the module housing. The connector housing is provided with connection terminal pieces each having an elastic contact portion connected at one end to the wiring member of a flexible flat board, and a press contact portion connected at the other end to the terminal pattern.

    Abstract: A connector for connecting to a flexible substrate which includes reinforcement for the surrounding areas of the pivot-supporting holes which support an operation lever and provides feedback to an operator when the operation lever is locked to the housing of the connector. A slider is directed by guides while the operation lever turns. When the slider is at a backward position, an insertion opening can be accessed for inserting a flexible substrate. When the slider is at a forward position, a press plate of the slider presses either one of the flexible substrate which has been inserted into the opening and the contacts provided in the housing to the other one. An electrical connection is established between the flexible substrate and the contacts. The operation lever is parallel to the slider in the forward position, and locks provided on a side surface opposite to the side surface with the insertion opening are locked to turn locks on the operation lever.

    Abstract: A flat cable connector has one or more contact bodies. Each contact body is formed from a bent plate body and has a terminal part and a circuit board contact part. The terminal part of the contact has a u-shape for contacting a flexible circuit board. The circuit board contact part has a flexible curved end for contacting a main circuit board. A housing case is positioned around the contact bodies and has openings on at least one side. The openings are positioned to expose parts of the contact bodies and include an insertion hole and a contact hole. The insertion hole provides access for a connection terminal part of a main circuit board to the circuit board contact parts of the contacts. The contact hole provides access for a flexible circuit board to the terminal parts of the contacts. A moveable cover fits loosely in the insertion hole and anchors the flexible circuit board to the terminal parts of the contacts to form an electrical connection.
