  • Patent number: 9979516
Abstract: It is intended to provide a transmission device, a reception device and a communication system capable of improving transmission characteristics by performing packet combining by HARQ in MU-MIMO transmission using non-linear precoding. In a case of receiving NAK from any of terminal devices (400), a base station device (100) retransmits a packet, in which an error occurs, addressed to this terminal device. The base station device (100) transmits the data to be retransmitted together with other transmission data addressed to a different terminal device or addressed to the own terminal device by spatial multiplexing transmission with MU-MIMO. At this time, for the retransmission data, precoding is performed such that a perturbation term same as a perturbation term which has been added to this data by non-linear precoding at the time of initial transmission is added.

  • Patent number: 4910792
Abstract: An up-link power from an earth station in a satellite communication system is controlled to compensate rain attenuation caused in an up-link so that the transmission power of the earth station is adjusted according to the difference between the level of a received reference signal, which is sent from a reference earth station to the satellite, and the level of its own received signal which is transmitted to the satellite from itself and is received at its own station after being relayed by the satellite. A transmission power of the reference earth station is adjusted so that the level of the received reference signal at the satellite is constant.

  • Patent number: 4870642
Abstract: A demand-assignment communication system is disclosed, in which a plurality of earth stations share a plurality of satellite communication channels in one satellite transponder frequency band, and in which a plurality of carriers with a plurality of transmission frequency bands determined according to transmission rate corresponding to plural kinds of communication circuits of different transmission rates are integrally handled and which, upon occurrence of a call from one of the earth stations to another, assigns to the call a satellite communication channel corresponding to the transmission frequency band necessary therefor.

  • Patent number: 4783779
Abstract: In a frequency division multiple access (FDMA) communication system, a plurality of carrier frequencies relating to a predetermined frequency band for transmitting a PSK (phase shift keying) signal are provided on a frequency scale. When a service is a low bit rate signal, it is transmitted by using a single carrier frequency and its related frequency band. When a service is a high bit rate signal which can not be transmitted in a single carrier signal, the service signal is divided in to a plurality of low bit rate PSK signals, each of which is transmitted by using a single carrier frequency and the related frequency band.

  • Patent number: 4075429
Abstract: A transmultiplexer, in which after a pulse code modulated, time division multiplex signal of the voice band signal is converted into an analog signal, the analog signal is separated by filters into signals of respective channels and then the signals of the respective channels are combined together to provide a single sideband frequency divided, multiplex signal. In a reverse signal flow type, after a single sideband frequency-divided multiplex signal is separated by filters into signals of respective channels, the signals of respective channels are converted into digital signals and thereafter combined together to provide a pulse code modulated, time division multiplex signal. In accordance with this invention, a sign bit inverter is provided for reversing sign bits of predetermined specific channels in the pulse code modulated, time division multiplex signal every other frame.

  • Patent number: 4045614
Abstract: A system for controlling teletype signals, in which a start-stop telegraph signal train may be received at the reversed polarity state. The polarity of a signal element of a received character is decided at a specified instant in a time slot at which the stop element of the received character is expected to arrive. The polarity of a signal element of the received character is again decided in a time slot at which a stop element after a predetermined number of characters from the specified instant is expected to arrive. Only when the polarities of the signal elements of the received characters are decided as the same A-polarity during both of the decision operations, the polarity of the telegraph signal train is automatically reversed.
