  • Patent number: 4588782
Abstract: A diene polymer produced by polymerizing a conjugated diene monomer in a solvent solution of an active lithium-terminated polymer in the presence of a catalyst consisting of (A) a cobalt compound and (B) carbon disulfide and/or phenylisothiocyanic acid. The diene polymer comprises a 1,2-polybutadiene portion having a high percentage of vinyl conformation. The diene polymer has substantially no mercaptan compound.

  • Patent number: 4463133
Abstract: A rubber composition suitable for use in tire tread is disclosed, which contains at least 20 parts by weight of a block copolymer per 100 parts by weight of total rubber content. This block copolymer comprises (A) a polymer segment obtained by starting from conjugated diolefin and monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and having a content of monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon bond of not more than 10% by weight and (B) a copolymer segment obtained by copolymerization of conjugated diolefin and monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and having a content of monovinyl aromatic hydrocarbon bond of 15-50% by weight.

  • Patent number: 4433109
Abstract: A styrene-butadiene block copolymer having a Mooney viscosity (ML.sub.1+4, 100.degree. C.) of 10 to 150 comprising two specific random styrene-butadiene copolymer blocks different in bound styrene content and in vinyl content in the butadiene portion, and optionally polybutadiene blocks, wherein the total vinyl content in the whole bound butadiene is 30 to 70% and the total bound styrene content is 10 to 40% by weight. Said block copolymer is excellent in wet skid resistance and rolling resistance, well-balanced in fracture and wear characteristics and also satisfactory in processability and cold flow property.

  • Patent number: 4185173
Abstract: The disclosure is directed to a calling circuit which controls the connection of two different audio signal sources to a single audio signal transmission path for broadcasting the audio signals over a telephone set loudpseaker as well as controlling the energization of indicators in the telephone set and at the main control circuit. Only four conductors are used to connect the telephone set with the main control circuit, two of which are power supply conductors which may supply other circuits as well.

  • Patent number: 4087649
Abstract: A counting circuit is disclosed which generates an electrical representation corresponding to the number of pulses in a plurality of pulse trains, each pulse train containing at most ten pulses. The circuit does not start to count the number of pulses in individual pulse trains until a first pulse train with more than a preselected number of pulses is received. The circuit then counts each pulse in subsequently received pulse trains for a preselected number of pulse trains. The circuit is particularly useful in key telephone dial pulse signalling apparatus as a register circuit which is not responsive to false pulses generated by lifting the handset.

  • Patent number: 4081624
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a key telephone system intercom line circuit which uses only three leads to connect plural telephones and an intercom line control circuit. These leads comprise two talking circuit leads and one control lead. Exclusion circuits in each of the telephones are controlled by signals applied on the single control lead (1) to allow a telephone to seize the intercom line circuit when it is in an idle state, (2) to allow a called telephone (signalled via a separate pair of calling leads) to answer without being excluded and (3) to exclude all other telephones from the intercom line circuit after the calling telephone has seized the intercom line circuit.
