Patent number: 4645429Abstract: The discharge gas which has been compressed by the compressor main body is cooled by heat dissipation through the heat exchanger, after which it is again returned to the compressor. When the lubricant oil is sucked under pressure of the discharge gas, it is also cooled. Each and every component part of the compressor main body and the electric motor is cooled by causing the cooled discharge gas to pass there through, whereby the temperature rise in the compressor as a whole can be suppressed.Type: GrantFiled: June 18, 1985Date of Patent: February 24, 1987Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kazutomo Asami, Fumiaki Sano, Koji Ishijima, Fumio Wada, Takuho Hirahara

Patent number: 4628963Abstract: A discharge valve for a refrigerant compressor includes a leaf spring 10 for biasing a flexible valve plate 9 which opens and closes a refrigerant discharge port 8. The leaf spring has a centrally deformed portion which engages an intermediate portion of the valve plate. During the initial opening of the discharge port, no spring force is applied to the free end 9a of the valve plate to thereby reduce any opening delay and increase the efficiency of the compressor.Type: GrantFiled: July 22, 1985Date of Patent: December 16, 1986Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Koji Ishijima, Fumiaki Sano, Fumio Wada, Kazutomo Asami

Patent number: 4624630Abstract: The lubricating oil pool 11 in the bottom of the shell 1 of a rolling piston refrigerant gas compressor is communicated directly with the space 16 inside the cylindrical piston 4 via a supply passage 10c in a side plate 10. Sufficient clearance is provided between the ends of the piston and the compressor side plates 9, 10 to enable limited communication between the space 16 and the compression and suction chambers 6, 18. The compressor discharge is supplied to the space 7 within the shell, and the resultant differential pressure applied to opposite ends of the supply passage causes a steady flow of oil into the piston interior to properly lubricate the moving parts of the compressor.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 1985Date of Patent: November 25, 1986Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Takuho Hirahara, Koji Ishijima, Fumiaki Sano, Fumio Wada, Kazutomo Asami, Masahiro Sugihara

Patent number: 4611473Abstract: The number of potentially rupturable brazed refrigerant tubing connections in a refrigeration system is reduced by crimping the check valve 14a directly within a tubing section 14b prior to its bending and assembly, either upstream or downstream of the accumulator/separator 16.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 1985Date of Patent: September 16, 1986Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Fumio Wada, Koji Ishijima, Fumiaki Sano, Kazutomo Asami

Patent number: 4592705Abstract: The vane slot 20 and lubricating oil passageway 21 in the cylinder member 3 of a rotary vane compressor are configured such that the radial length of the slot wall 20a on the low pressure side of the vane 5 is less than that of the opposite wall 20b on the high pressure side. Such a shortened low pressure side slot wall reduces wear by providing improved lubrication at the critical inward edge of the slot (F1), and facilitates the flushing away of abrasive particles formed during the initial seating of the vane. For a horizontal installation the lubricating oil level is maintained below the radially outermost edge of the wall 20a to prevent the oil from being drawn into the low pressure chamber 17 when the compressor is stopped.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 1985Date of Patent: June 3, 1986Assignee: Mitsubishi Denki Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Sei Ueda, Takuho Hirahara, Koji Ishijima, Fumiaki Sano, Kazutomo Asami, Fumio Wada
