The valve plate auxiliary member 130 is made of a material having a lower Young's modulus than that of the valve plate 110.

A plurality of kinds of generating modes for generating an index picture by summarizing the contents of a moving picture are prepared, any of the modes is selected, and a generating process is performed in the selected mode. It enables an index picture to be generated in a proper form according to the property, use, and the like of a moving picture material.

Abstract: The present network electronic conferencing system 101 comprises, as shown in FIG. 4, at least one notebook personal computer PCi (i=1-3), a communicator (3A) or a projector (2A) for processing at least information transferred from this notebook personal computer PCi and providing electric information contents including display information, and an access point (6) for connecting this communicator (3A) to each of the notebook personal computers PCi. The communicator (3A) delivers all at once identification information packets for identifying the projector (2A), the notebook personal computers PCi, the access point (6), etc., while the notebook personal computer PCi displays identification information and selects electronic devices including the communicator (3A) and the other notebook personal computers PCi. Abstract: An imaging device capable of displaying an outline of a moving picture as a still picture is realized. Further, reproduction of a moving picture that is started from any desired scene by using an index picture can be realized. When VD index pictures displayed on a browser screen are selected, a corresponding index representative still picture is displayed. Therefore, a moving picture such as a moving picture of a quick motion whose contents cannot be easily grasped only by the VD index picture, can be easily recognized with the addition of the corresponding index representative still picture. By selecting the VD index pictures displayed on the browser screen, display of the corresponding moving picture is started from a portion corresponding to the selected VD index picture.
