  • Patent number: 11079087
Abstract: Provided is a vehicle lamp configured such that light emitted from a light emitting element (30) and incident from an incident portion (22e) formed on a top surface (22c) of a plate-like light guide (22B) is reflected toward a front end surface (22a) of the plate-like light guide (22B) by a first reflecting portion (22f) formed on a bottom surface (22d) of the plate-like light guide (22B). At that time, the incident portion (22e) is positioned on a step-up surface (22c1) formed to protrude from a general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). Further, the first reflecting portion (22f) is formed such that its upper end edge (22f1) is located closer to the step-up surface (22c1) than the general portion (22c0) of the top surface (22c). In this way, a wide reflecting area of the first reflecting portion (22f) can be secured.

  • Patent number: 10371341
Abstract: A vehicle lamp includes a light source and a light guide body configured to guide light from the light source therein and emit the light toward a front side of the lamp. The light guide body includes a first rod-shaped light guide portion configured to guide light incident from an incident end surface, a second rod-shaped light guide portion configured to guide the incident light, and a plate-shaped light guide portion formed in an area between the first rod-shaped light guide portion and the second rod-shaped light guide portion. The plate-shaped light guide portion has an end side surface configured to totally reflect at least a portion of light, which travels in the plate-shaped light guide portion, toward the first rod-shaped light guide portion and/or the second rod-shaped light guide portion.

  • Patent number: 9470390
Abstract: A vehicular lamp includes a light source; and a light guide including a sub-light guiding part and a main light guiding part that are arranged adjacent to each other in a first direction. The sub-light guiding part extends in a second direction. The sub-light guiding part is configured such that light entering the sub-light guiding part from the light source is guided in the second direction and is emitted to the main light guiding part. The main light guiding part extends in a lamp front-rear direction and the second direction. The main light guiding part is configured such that the light that is emitted by the light source and enters the main light guiding part through the sub-light guiding part is internally reflected at a rear end face of the main light guiding part, and is emitted forward through a front end face of the main light guiding part.
