Abstract: A code reader 1 comprises: a composite processing unit 43 that generates a composite image by executing composite processing of a plurality of images based on image features of each of the plurality of images output from a camera; a decoding unit 45 that executes decode processing on the composite image generated by the composite processing unit 43; a calculation unit 46 that calculates an index indicating the accuracy of the composite processing of the plurality of images by the composite processing unit 43; and an output unit 47 that outputs the index to a management device. The management device displays the index calculated for the composite image on which the decode processing by the decoding unit 45 has failed on a display device.

Abstract: Occurrence of a reading error is suppressed even in a case where a conveyance state of a workpiece changes during operation. The controller includes an acquisition unit that acquires a detection signal of the workpiece, a conveyance speed of a conveyor, and installation information indicating relative position and posture of each camera with respect to the conveyor, a recognition unit that recognizes a conveyance state of the workpiece based on the detection signal and the conveyance speed, a processing determination unit that determines a control parameter corresponding to a conveyance position of the workpiece on the conveyor for each camera based on the conveyance state and the installation information of each camera, and a communication unit that transmits the control parameter determined by the processing determination unit to each corresponding camera.
