  • Patent number: 9739797
Abstract: A sensor device includes a semiconductor substrate and multiple sensing portions that are placed on one side of the semiconductor substrate and convert a physical quantity into an electrical signal. The one side is parallel to a reference plane defined by an X-direction and a Y-direction perpendicular to each other. The semiconductor substrate has a center point that is both a geometric center and a center of mass. The semiconductor substrate is axisymmetric with respect to each of a first reference line passing through the center point and parallel to the X-direction and a second reference line passing through the center point and parallel to the Y-direction. Each of the sensing portions is axisymmetric with respect to each of the first reference line and the second reference line.

  • Patent number: 7543896
Abstract: A pressure regulating reservoir is structured such that a major diameter portion of a shaft contacts a bottom surface of a valve seat, whereas a top surface of a piston does not contact an upper end surface of a wall forming a reservoir chamber in a housing. Therefore, a lift amount of a ball valve can be set using a portion above the major diameter portion of the shaft that contacts the bottom surface of the valve seat. That is, the lift amount can be set using only a dimension in the axial direction of a minor diameter portion of the shaft.

  • Patent number: 7124930
Abstract: A gear pump having an inner rotor and an outer rotor is covered by a cylindrical outer casing and side casings. The cylindrical outer casing has two outer circumferential edges which are welded over the entire circumference thereof to the outer edges of the side casings, respectively. The outer casing has two angularly spaced recesses in its inner periphery for receiving slide seals therein. Welding is started at a welding start point which is 90 degrees spaced from the middle point between two recesses. During welding, welding energies are applied to the welding start point and the middle point between two recesses. Those energies tend to deform the casing into oval shapes that are 90 degrees out of phase from each other. Thus, these energies cancel each other, thereby preventing the casing from being deformed.

  • Publication number: 20050133440
Abstract: A filter device includes a main body with a tubular shape having at least two outflow openings formed in a sidewall thereof with an interval in between around a tube axis for passing fluid such as oil; and a filter member with a tube shape embedded in the main body around the tube axis thereof to pass column portions formed between the outflow openings for closing the outflow openings. At least one of the column portions has a groove formed in an inner surface thereof to extend along the tube axis of the main body.

  • Publication number: 20040084958
Abstract: A brake actuator element used in a hydraulic brake system and exposed to brake fluid. It includes a piston formed with a not-through hole, and a pin pressed into the piston. A channel is defined between the inner wall of the not-through hole and the outer periphery of the pin. Through this passage, the gap defined between the bottom of the pin and the bottom of the not-through hole when the pin is pressed into the not-through hole is always kept in communication with the outer air. Thus, any air remaining in the gap smothly escapes through the channel when the pin is pressed into the not-through hole.

  • Patent number: 6402266
Abstract: In a pump apparatus having a plurality of rotary pumps, an axis of a drive shaft is disposed perpendicularly to the gravity direction and the respective intake and discharge ports of the pumps extend in a direction opposite to the gravity direction. A housing, in which the pumps are contained, is provided with brake fluid passages connected to the intake and discharge ports, respectively. The respective brake fluid passages also extend in a direction opposite to the gravity direction. As a result, air entered into brake fluid may be easily purged through the intake and discharge ports and the brake fluid passages.

  • Patent number: 6302498
Abstract: A pressure-adjusting reservoir which can reduce an unstable movement of a ball valve therein to release a pulse of brake fluid. The pressure-adjusting reservoir has a pressure-adjusting valve constructed so that a tip portion of a pin pushes up a ball valve to open a valve hole when brake fluid reserved in a reservoir chamber is less than a predetermined amount, and the tip portion of the pin is released from the ball valve to close the valve hole when the reservoir chamber is filled with the predetermined amount of brake fluid. The tip portion of the pin has a slant surface slanting with respect to a sliding direction of the pin. In this case, the ball valve contacts with at least two portions including the slant surface and one of a part of a valve seat and inner wall of a housing, and is supported at plural portions. Therefore, the unstable movement of the ball valve can be reduced.
