    Abstract: A coherent MASK-OFDM digital communication system that includes logics for modulating and demodulating digital signals to be communicated using M-ary amplitude shift keying (MASK) and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) is provided. This MASK-OFDM system can be implemented digitally by discrete cosine transform (DCT) and inverse discrete cosine transform (IDCT). The (I)DCT can be implemented, for example, by an (I)FCT.
