  • Patent number: 5208431
Abstract: A method for producing an object includes the steps of directing a laser beam to pass near a multiaxis table, supplying material from a material supply device to pass through and be melted by the laser beam, conveying the molten material to a prescribed location on the multiaxis table by allowing it to fall under its own weight or conveying it with a carrier gas, three-dimensionally controlling the position and attitude of the multiaxis table by means of a controller, and progressively depositing the molten material at prescribed locations on the multiaxis table for producing an object of a prescribed shape.

  • Patent number: 4986670
Abstract: A temperature measurement device is provided with a temperature sensing element which contains a quartz resonator having a quartz oscillating crystal whose ratio of width to thickness is in the range of 9.48 to 9.69, and an antenna which receives stimulus for the quartz oscillating crystal and transmits waves of reverberatory oscillation. The temperature measurement device is capable of measuring temperatures in the range of normal room temperature to extremely low temperatures (4.degree. K.).

  • Patent number: 4836417
Abstract: An apparatus for continuously supplying fine powder at a constant rate comprises a hopper for holding the fine powder, a first piezoelectric transducer disposed on the diaphragm for supplying vibration to cause discharge of the fine powder therefrom, a second piezoelectric transducer for detecting change in the frequency of vibration of the hopper with change in the amount of fine powder contained in the hopper and feeding the detected signal back to a driver for the first piezoelectric transducer so as to supply vibration to the hopper at a frequency determined on the basis of the amount of fine powder contained in the hopper.
