    Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to a method performed by a transmitting device (12) for transferring background user data to a receiving device (10) in a communication network (1). The transmitting device (12) intercepts a packet, which packet comprises foreground user data in a payload field of the packet. The transmitting device (12) determines that the packet is intended for the receiving device (10). The transmitting device (12) establishes an available amount of data in the payload field of the packet. The transmitting device (12) adds the background user data for the receiving device (10) to the established available amount of data in the payload field. The transmitting device (12) transmits the packet with the foreground user data and the background user data to the receiving device (10).

For example, node 106A receives a network packet from server 104 and forwards the packet to node 106B. Node 106A determines an amount of energy consumed by node 106A in processing the packet. Node 106A adds this determined energy consumption value to an energy consumption value in a header within the network packet to produce an aggregate energy consumption value and send the network packet with the aggregate energy consumption value to node 106B. Node 106B receives the network packet from node 106a. Node 106B determines an amount of energy consumed by node 106B in processing the packet.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for guidance of one or more transport vehicles (100). The presence of passengers at a vehicle stop (104) is detected by sensors (106a-c), each sensor (106a-c) being associated with a predefined destination or vehicle route. A traveling intention of the passengers is identified (1:2) based on the detected presence, and a notification (1:3) related to the traveling intention of the passengers is then provided to a transport vehicle (100) driving on a predefined route that includes said vehicle stop (104). Thereby, the transport vehicle (100) is able to adapt its driving route according to the traveling intention of the passenger, e.g. by skipping the vehicle stop (104) if the passenger does not intend to enter the vehicle at the vehicle stop (104).
