  • Publication number: 20240195798
Abstract: In one embodiment, a method, by an authentication server, includes generating a transaction identifier associated with an authentication request received from an external device. In response to verifying a first authentication factor of the authentication request, the method includes transmitting a prompt and the transaction identifier to the external device, wherein the prompt is an HTTP link associated with a browser comprising a generated cookie, the generated cookie being associated with the transaction identifier. The method includes receiving a signal comprising a transmitted transaction identifier and an instruction to process the HTTP link. The method includes instructing an application installed on the external device to open the browser in a webview in response to processing the instruction, wherein a cookie is provided. The method includes identifying the generated cookie based on verifying the transmitted transaction identifier.

  • Patent number: 12005616
Abstract: A method for forming a thermoplastic body having regions with varied material composition and/or porosity. Powder blends comprising a thermoplastic polymer, a sacrificial porogen and an inorganic reinforcement or filler are molded to form complementary parts with closely toleranced mating surfaces. The parts are formed discretely, assembled and compression molded to provide a unitary article that is free from discernible boundaries between the assembled parts. Each part in the assembly has differences in composition and/or porosity, and the assembly has accurate physical features throughout the sections of the formed article, without distortion and nonuniformities caused by variable compaction and densification rates in methods that involve compression molding powder blends in a single step.

  • Publication number: 20240184561
Abstract: A communication device for connection to a serial bus (e.g. CAN Bus) of a vehicle/machine includes processing, memory, sensors, and communications that provides communication between and control of components/aspects of the vehicle/machine connected to the vehicle's CAN Bus with and by a remote personal processing device (e.g. a smart phone or tablet) of a remote user via only the Cloud. The Cloud also provides data to the communication device. Programming (e.g. an app) running on the remote personal processing device allows the user to provide data regarding the vehicle's/machine's components and aspects thereof to the communication device and thus the vehicle/machine via only the Cloud. The Cloud may store programming for the vehicle/machine that is provided to the vehicle, preferably but not necessarily, upon receipt of certain vehicle data from the communication device. The communication device may use cellular communications, and include near-field communications.

  • Publication number: 20240183470
Abstract: A fitting includes a first and second threaded fitting component and a conduit gripping device receivable within the first threaded fitting component. A stroke resisting member is integral with the first threaded fitting component and includes a web having a first radial thickness and extending axially inward from the first threaded fitting component to a distal ring portion having a second radial thickness greater than the first radial thickness. A radially extending bearing surface of the distal ring portion axially engages a radially extending portion of the second fitting component when the first and second fitting components are joined together to the first relative axial position. The stroke resisting member resists additional axial stroke of the first and second fitting components, such that a tightening torque beyond the first relative axial position is increased by the axial engagement.

  • Patent number: 11992936
Abstract: A surgical system uses a single entry port in a wide variety of surgeries. To insert multiple surgical instruments into a patient through a single entry port requires that the shaft of at least one of the surgical instruments be bent between the base of the surgical instrument and the point where the shaft contacts a channel in an entry guide. Each surgical instrument is positioned by an instrument manipulator positioning system so that when the shaft is inserted in a channel of the entry guide, any bending of the shaft does not damage the surgical instrument and does not inhibit proper operation of the surgical instrument.

  • Publication number: 20240074685
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses systems and methods for measuring the bladder volume of a patient. An ultrasound transducer array may be used to transmit electrical pulses and receive the backscattered pulses that can be analyzed to develop a representation of the patients bladder. The backscattered ultrasound signals may be amplified, converted, and processed by circuitry and computer software to develop an axial position of the anterior and posterior bladder walls. Bladder volume measurements derived from the patients bladder may then be wirelessly transmitted to a display device for assessment by a healthcare provider. The ultrasound transducer array portion of the device may be held in place between the patients peritoneum and pubis by an elastic strap or a belt to ensure proper positioning.
