Abstract: A system for supporting exterior panels on a substrate of a building structure. The system has a plurality of polymeric bracket members, and each of the bracket members have at least one anchor section, at least one web section and at least one support section. The polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior panel to the substrate of the building structure. A plurality of exterior cladding units are held in place by the bracket members. A plurality of vents are disposed between the panels and the exterior panels, and a plurality of vents are also disposed between the panels and the substrate, thereby forming a ventilation system.

  • Publication number: 20180010341
Abstract: A bracket assembly comprising an elongated bracket member and an end wall support member. The elongated bracket member has a body wall having an inner end and an outer end. A first end wall extends from the inner end of the body wall and a second end wall extends from the outer end. The end wall support member is attached to each of the first end wall and the second end wall. The bracket member further comprises a plurality of fibers within a resin matrix. The plurality of fibers includes at least one fiber fabric extending from the first end wall to the second end wall.

  • Publication number: 20170356181
Abstract: A strap system comprising a plurality of straps. Each strap comprises a central body configured to extend within the first reinforcement channel, an outward jog at an upper end of the central body with an upper offset body extending therefrom, and a lower overlap portion extending from the central body opposite of the upper offset body. The lower overlap portion is positionable within the first reinforcement channel, while the upper offset body extending along the first end wall overlying the first reinforcement channel, whereupon positioning the first strap in operable position relative to the second strap directs the upper offset body into overlying position relative to the lower overlap portion of the second reinforcement channel, to, in turn, provide for the coupling therebetween by a fastener directed therethrough. A bracket member with a strap system, and a building system with a strap system are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20170342723
Abstract: A coupling assembly for spacing outer sheeting or cladding away from a bracket member including a spacer. The spacer has a first end and a second end. The first end is in substantial overlying abutment with a bracket member and the second end is in substantial overlying abutment with an outer bracket member. A mineral wool is spaced between the bracket member and the outer bracket member, with the space providing the spacing therebetween. The space may be coupled to each of the outer bracket member and the bracket member with a fastener. An insulation system is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20170247882
Abstract: A system for supporting exterior panels or cladding units on a building substrate. The system includes a plurality of polymeric bracket members, wherein each of the polymeric bracket members further includes an anchor section, adapted to be coupled to the building substrate, and a support section adapted to couple to the exterior cladding unit. In assembly, as disposed between the building substrate and the exterior cladding units, the polymeric bracket members provide a thermal break from the exterior cladding units to the building substrate.

  • Publication number: 20170198471
Abstract: An insulation system for coupling to a building substrate comprising a plurality of insulation panels, bracket members and splice members. Each insulation panel includes a longitudinal slot. Each bracket member is formed from a polymer and includes an elongated body having a body wall, a first end wall and a second end wall. Upper and lower ribs extend from the body wall and are structurally configured to extend into the longitudinal slot of each of the plurality of insulation panels, and to elastically deform the longitudinal slot so as to effectively seal along a length thereof, defining a vapor barrier. A similar structure is on each splice member. The bracket members are positioned in a spaced apart relationship with insulation panels therebetween. The upper and lower ribs extend into corresponding ones of the longitudinal slots of the insulation panels, with splice members extending between adjacent adjacently abutting insulation panels.
