  • Patent number: 9944416
Abstract: The invention relates to a filling device (1) for dispensing a fluid into at least one container, where the filling device (1) has a weighing system (2) and a filling-needle system (3). The weighing system (2) has a positioning device (4) which can be adapted to a container diameter and which may have an annular design. The weighing system (2) is arranged on an accommodation platform (7) which can be moved vertically by means of a linear unit. The filling-needle system (3) is arranged on a displacement unit in a position at a distance in the axial direction above the positioning device (4).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 5, 2014
Date of Patent: April 17, 2018
    Assignee: Merck Patent GmbH
Inventors: Guenter Hauke, Holger Jost, Leticia Garcia Diez, Michael Ukelis, Guenter Brenner

  • Patent number: 7001576
Abstract: A device for the emulsification and separation of small amounts of immiscible liquid phases has essentially a cover plate (2), which can be tightly connected to a base plate (1), where microchannels (4,4a,5,6,6a) in the form of grooves are cut out on the inner surface (3,3a) of the base plate (1) and/or cover plate (2). In a mixing zone, two microchannels (4,4a) run in a wave shape crossing one another a number of times. In a subsequent separation zone, they run essentially straight combined in a common microchannel (5). The otherwise tightly sealed-off microchannels (4,4a,5,6,6a) can be filled and emptied again via inlet apertures (8,8a) and outlet apertures (9,9a).

  • Patent number: 6500251
Abstract: Multilayer interference pigment consisting of plateletlike titanium dioxide as carrier material, coated with alternating layers of metal oxides of low and high refractive index, the difference in the refractive indices being at least 0.1, which is obtainable by solidification and hydrolysis of an aqueous solution of a thermally hydrolyzable titanium compound on a continuous belt, detachment of the resulting coat, coating of the resulting titanium dioxide platelets, with or without drying in between, by a wet method with, alternately, a metal oxide hydrate of high refractive index and a metal oxide hydrate of low refractive index by hydrolysis of the corresponding, water-soluble metal compounds, separation, drying and, if desired, calcining of the material obtained.

  • Patent number: 6488315
Abstract: A coupling for microcomponents has several essentially plane-parallel plates with line connections for delivering and discharging liquid or gaseous components. The line connections are mounted on a connection block which protrudes through openings in the plates with fixing segments that engage a pressure plate retained by a clip. The line connections open out in an area of line bores in the plate.

  • Patent number: 6238472
Abstract: Colored pearl luster pigment consisting of a core of platelet shaped titanium dioxide and one or more layers of other metal oxides or metal oxide hydrates obtainable by solidifying an aqueous solution of a thermally hydrolyzable titanium compound on a continuous belt, detaching the resulting layer, coating the resulting titanium dioxide platelets, with or without drying in between, with one or more other metal oxides or metal oxide hydrates, for example Fe2O3, Fe3O4, FeOOH or Cr2O3, by a wet method, separating, drying and, if desired, calcining the material obtained.
