  • Publication number: 20240200286
Abstract: A ground processing roller includes a roller shell rotatable about a roller axis, a first lubricant sump arranged in a height direction below the roller axis, a second lubricant sump arranged in the height direction below the roller axis, and an overflow connection between the first lubricant sump and the second lubricant sump. Lubricant can flow from the second lubricant sump via the overflow connection into the first lubricant sump when the second lubricant sump level is reached or exceeded. The first lubricant sump is filled or fillable with lubricant up to a first lubricant sump level having a first distance from the roller axis in the height direction. The second lubricant sump is filled or fillable with lubricant up to a second lubricant sump level having a second distance from the roller axis in the height direction. The second distance is smaller than the first distance.

  • Publication number: 20230383491
Abstract: A soil processing roller includes an elongated roller shell that rotates about a roller axis of rotation and a first fluid chamber in a roller interior space delimited by the roller shell. In association with the first fluid chamber a first opening group is provided which includes a first filling opening, a first discharge opening and a first fill level control opening. A shielding element is arranged in an axial end region of the roller interior space which does not rotate about the roller axis of rotation during a soil processing operation. A first release recess is provided in the shielding element, and a second fluid chamber substantially separated from the first fluid chamber against fluid exchange is delimited by the roller shell. In association with the second fluid chamber a second opening group is provided which includes a second filling opening, a second discharge opening and a second fill level control opening.

  • Publication number: 20230130272
Abstract: A roller tool for a soil processing roller includes a tool carrier to be fixed to an outer circumferential side of a carrier jacket and has a tethering area for fixedly tethering the tool carrier to an outer circumferential surface of the carrier jacket and an interchangeable holder clamping region, an interchangeable tool having an interchangeable tool shank elongated in the direction of a shank longitudinal axis, an interchangeable holder having an interchangeable holder opening elongated in the direction of an opening longitudinal axis for receiving the interchangeable tool shank of the interchangeable tool to be detachably fixed to the interchangeable holder and with an interchangeable holder counter-clamping region. The interchangeable holder counter-clamping region is brought into clamping interaction with the interchangeable holder clamping region for detachably fixing the interchangeable holder to the tool carrier.

  • Patent number: 9284696
Abstract: A compactor roller for a soil compactor comprises an oscillation mass assembly (34) including at least one oscillation shaft (36) rotatable about an oscillation-shaft axis of rotation eccentric to a compactor-roller axis of rotation, which oscillation mass assembly (34) includes at least one oscillation unbalance mass (66, 68), and a vibration mass assembly (84) including a vibration shaft (86) rotatable about a vibration shaft axis of rotation (Dv), which vibration mass assembly (84) includes at least one vibration unbalance mass (96), wherein at least one oscillation shaft (36, 38) and the vibration shaft (86) are carried in the compactor roller (10) such that they can be driven to rotate.

  • Patent number: 4452528
Abstract: To provide line or strip form illumination of an object or image carrier, such as a drawing, design, or written material, for projection or copy machine purposes, a point source of light such as a quartz halogen lamp or a pinhole optical system is provided in which the light point is imaged by means of a movable mirror on the object or pattern, the movable mirror scanning the point source of light across the object or pattern to provide, essentially, strip illumination which can be uniform across the scanning strip by selecting an angular deflection speed of the mirror of .omega.=c.multidot.sin.sup.2 .alpha., or varying the deflection speed to have a longer dwell time of the light beam at selected locations to provide for light intensity maxima distributed throughout the scanned image, for example for compensation of distortion.
