  • Patent number: 7300115
Abstract: A chisel holder for a road milling machine or the like, having a base element which supports a holding neck, wherein the holding neck has a chisel receiver and a protrusion is connected to the base element upstream of the holding neck when viewed in an advancing direction of the tool. For improving the cutting output, in particular in connection with rough-chipped milling materials, the base element has a connecting section designed as a chip breaker, which is formed on the base element and extends, starting at the holding neck, at least partially over the protrusion.

  • Publication number: 20070127986
Abstract: In a scraper device for a milling drum (2) mounted in a construction machine, with a scraper blade (10) arranged in a height-adjustable manner behind the milling drum (2) when seen in the direction of travel, which can glide on the surface (3) milled or to be milled by the milling drum (2), where the scraper blade (10) is guided in lateral guides (12) in a height-adjustable manner relative to the milling drum (2), and where first centering devices (14) are provided which center the scraper blade (10) between the guides (12) with small lateral play of movement when in a raised position, and which allow a greater lateral play of movement of the scraper blade (10) when the scraper blade (10) is in a lowered working position, it is provided that the second centering devices (20) act upon the upper end (16) of the scraper blade (10), restricting the lateral displacement of the scraper blade (10) at the upper end (16) in case of a lateral movement of the scraper blade (10) in the guides (12).

  • Patent number: 7086704
Abstract: A fixing device for a shank chisel, having a base part and an upper part, wherein the upper part is detachably connected to the base part. The upper part has an opening for receiving a shank chisel and the base part has a shaft opening, into which a shaft of the upper part is inserted, and the shaft has a tensioning surface that rests against the counter surface of a clamping element. The clamping element has a tensioning screw which is used to clamp the tensioning surface against the counter surface. The base part has a shoulder surface, which is located in the vicinity of or near the shank opening and at least partially surrounds the shank opening. A stop surface adjoins the rear region of the shoulder surface in the infeed direction at an angle. The upper part rests on the stop surface by a supporting surface and is held at a distance, at least in sections, from the base part.
